What is going on with freeview? Thought my aerial &/or signal booster were broken. No obvious issues. Seems lots of folk are reporting issues. Grrr.

@FreeviewTV My Parents only have limited freeview channels, is this because of the transmitter problems, if so, when will this be fixed as they only have freeview to watch and no internet they are both in their 80’s

@helensclegel Not on Netflix, but Great TV (Freeview 50) has that kind of stuff, plus US done-to-deaths such as Murder, She Wrote. As someone with mobility issues, with a partner who has spent over a year recovering after a serious accident, I know about harmless crap TV.

@SatonmyButt @freesat_tv I pay 2.49 a month to remove ITV adverts. My Tv signal doesn’t work well enough for freeview anymore. It’s well worth it! Plus there is UKTV app with drama yesterday and Dave freeview channels (free but adverts)

@noiseresearch My Dad used to call TV "chewing gum for the brain" I am watching less and less of it these days and have cut my Sky subscription down to the bare bones ( we get a very limited Freeview service of a handful of channels and there are signal issues in our area)

@Page_888 @russty_russ When there's a cheaper alterative for a quarter of the price, and there's a cost of living crisis - it's an easy cutback. If I was Radio Times King, I'd make print edition Freeview channels only and try and get price down to £2. Would mean a lot of changes to get there.

@BlankOpenspace @FreeviewAdvice No terestrial TV channels at all in my area LU5 - LU6 and still freeview say everything is perfect. In reality, freeview has been getting worse and worse ever since the so called improvements all this year but today freeview has absolutely "NO" signal at all.

@_mstephenson88 Probably BeIN not wanting Freeview anywhere in Qatar as they have had huge promotion push getting people to subscribe over here with discounted offers specifically for the WC. Still **** though WC should be Freeview everywhere

Instead of paying this mob of #r4today presenters obscene six figure salaries to giggle and read a few words off a sheet of paper for a few minutes per week- abolish TV Tax and let the poor bennefit from the saving. Plenty of TV and radio on Freeview non BBC channels @BBCr4today

@FrancisAShailes Hi Francis, I am so very sorry Freeview do not currently offer a service for computer or laptops via the web browser. To access content we would recommend you use the broadcasters websites such as BBC iplayer, ITV Hub, All4, MY 5, UKTV Play and Together TV via your PC.
