Switching off Freeview would make spectrum available for 5/6G, but at the (enormous) cost of putting all that bandwidth on existing connections. Not least all the perfectly good non-smart TVs that would become E-waste overnight.

chrisπ₯Iβm pro-choice (@scrivo35) reported@EmmerdaleInside There is no excuse not to put football or any other sport on ITV 3 or 4 as everyone who watches TV will have digital TV ( Freeview) as the analog signal got turned off years ago and them channels are free to all ( as long as they pay the TV Tax)
