@MrCoolHandLuke @PairoMayniaq @Telegraph Much of the country can't and will never get Freeview or full fibre broadband. In future it will be the same with 4G and 5G and whatever comes next.

Nooooo just lost our TV signal in the middle of @TheRepairShop Christmas programme. Freeview signal out across much of Cambs but until this minute we'd been ok. Thank heavens for iPlayer so we can see the rest later.

I will be talking to @RobbieRinder today at 6:15pm on @TalkTV about CBT-I and the app Sleepio recommended by NICE to be the used ahead of sleeping pills to treat insomnia. Viewers can watch via 📺 Freeview 237, Sky 526, Virgin 627 #CBT

@pennylongstckng Can't watch mainstream TV any longer, it's just infested with woke, poisonous lies & drivel. Not good I appreciate but these days I either spend time channel hopping through Freeview or don't even bother to put the TV on. Forget Netflix etc, just the same mind controlling garbage

@GaymerChat Yeah, I’m going to watch Stranger Things 4 then probably cancel. I’m tempted to cancel the package altogether and rely on Freeview and assorted streaming apps on the Apple TV. Maybe I’ll make a dent in my massive pile of unread books? (Spoiler: I will not…)

Hi @rmc47 - @melharbour suggested you might be able to help. Any ideas why a Freeview TV signal might disappear in the middle of the day? We've retuned, but it works fine until about 8.30am, then pixelated before finally displaying 'no signal' - so can't believe it's the tuning

@BBC just heard about your planned changes. Idiotic. Why move bbc3 to Freeview and then take away bbc4. I never watch bbc3 but very regularly watch bbc4. This is a summing down move. Not everyone has iPlayer on their TVs. Also moving 4extra to Sounds. We mainly listen in the car

Hopefully the Sue Gray report will be more Judge Judy than Punch and Judy. If she's bottled it then the best she can hope for in retirement is narrating Police Interceptors on 5star Freeview Channel 34. Which is actually not a bad gig in itself.

R4 LW is probably long overdue being closed as a separate service at least. Doesn't seem to be any plan though to close the SD services on TV. Surely cutting from two muxes to one on Freeview would be a significant saving, alongside equivalent changes on satellite/cable.

@DavidWhiteleyTV Freeview SD no problem. Freeview HD I get Meridian. Minor issue in the grand scheme of things though considering what's happening elsewhere in the world.
