Continually frustrated by @TalkTalk and its inconsistent service and performance. Have today purchased a freeview recorder to replace their box and will be actively looking for new broadband provider.

@bobp1961 @virginmedia Zen, a dedicated broadband provider, superb. For TV just gone to a smart TV (with a couple of apps for the channels I want) and Freeview. VM costs were just frankly ridiculous and service problematic.

A really bad day for TV viewers - Virgin Media's TV service is still not back to normal following a nationwide outage. - On Freeview, in the London TV region, an issue affecting the D3&4 multiplex has resulted in disruption to some viewers.

@cassyofLondon @njamurphy It's been happening most of this morning, losing certain freeview channels. Checked with neighbour, same issue. They must be working on the London transmitter. Would be nice if they could pre-warn us it is going to happen, rather than thinking there is something wrong at our end!

@virginmedia Got to say, first problem I’ve had with the service and been with them since the Cable and Wireless days! Compensation? For what? Because you’ve missed a ten times repeated Homes Under the Hammer? There is a thing called Freeview? Plus numerous other pay to view services #ManUp

Why ******** have i still only got bbc, itv and channel 4? We gonna be refunded this time on all our bills @virginmedia ?? Would be better off with freeview!! Only had your boxes a week!!

@stephensaunt1 @PaulbernalUK @virginmedia You only get compensation for a complete outage. VM have put a couple of Freeview channels on to worm their way out of compensation. Very disingenuous company.

@Anne_Coates1 @Geoff_McGivern @VirginMedia_TV I’ve currently got more on freeview than Virgin, but I’m surprised the web site is down, I’ve used that a lot, and it is working for me, although I guess I’m in a different area.
