IronWorks1990 (@IronWorks1990) reported@dskiuk2 @Danrocsky76 @cordbusters I went Paris last year and our tv where we stayed was through through aerial, 50 odd channels and every single one of the was HD. Freeview now is terrible in 2026, full of shovelware channels and hardly any HD channels, SD channels look awful as well.

chris (@chris_sucksmith) reported@Rothbury01669 This is a smart TV but I don't have Internet, never have, so the options are irrelevant. Just Freeview crap.
-
Steven Dawson (@Steven59066) reportedHi everyone, the government are making plans to shut down freeview and freesat, something needs to be done to stop this from happening to millions of people, who watch freeview, including me,

Presley Turberville (@T21949Presley) reported@evenskate566 Both of us loathe Richard Curtis comedy films, essentially due to the fact they're slushy Freeview crap.
-
Vic (@cra46159) reportedWatched the usual MSM crap 'News' on BBC, Sky, GB News, got bored, & switched to Al Jazeera Ch 252 on Freeview. I got a REAL perspective on their programme I didn't get from our own ones. Try them out 👍
-
Leigh Rumbelow (@MeadowAFCW) reported@itvfootball TV constantly stuttering. Is it my Freeview TV or the signal? I may have to fire up the laptop.
-
The Under Dog (@mattq660256) reportedIt's obvious all the freeview so called news channels are not news channels its so obvious with what they say and what they fail to say which should be said!!!???
-
Julie (@Julie2424355376) reported@YouAreAWally @right_far_right Never bought an avocado and we only have Freeview which I'm understanding will disappear soon. One thing I am though is clean, I make my own washing up liquid and washing liquid for clothes. Shower every day with soap and home made shampoo. So off with your stupid assumptions.

Paul_M_© (@Doub1eHelix) reported@jamzefish @BBCNews Ok, I get that you're talking about unencrypted satellite signals, but these can be controlled. Everyone will have to login to iPlayer for BBC content with some programs requiring a paid subscription. Freeview channels should remain viewable without need for a TV licence.

Matt Quinn - The Caledonian Television Company. (@Matt_Q_OnX) reported@sparry951 @diablik_uk @BENEFITS_NEWS It'll be a slow creep; for many years now some channels on the Freeview EPG have in fact been streamed. Freeview recorders are still readily available for those that want them; if you're using Sky/Virgin etc. you're already NOT using the Freeview service that is 'under threat'.
