@KevinPMeagher @BriW74 It's 'The Eagle Has Landed', on BBC Four, right now, and i-Player for a few weeks' - complete with Donald Sutherland and ludicrously bad 'Irish' accent. No sign of 'Where Eagles' Dare' on any of the Freeview channels for the next while.

@jasebyjason I thought this ! There’s probably not enough kids watching the tv now so they’re not bothering anymore but my dad never got wifi till I was 16 because waste of money so I feel bad for the families that rely on freeview tv 😭

@kelvmackenzie Can anyone answer a question for me? If the TV licence is specifically for the BBC, why must I pay for a TV licence if I "watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky, Virgin, BT, Freeview, Freesat)" I don't ever watch BBC channels or use iPlayer....????

@Dnewton99886451 @ColinBrazierTV Unfortunately you still need a licence if you watch Freeview. I don't even have that. I don't have an aerial & just have the Netflix, Prime, Disney & YouTube apps on my tv. I have the Apple TV app atm as I get it free with my phone contact til mid April but I never even watch it.

@supertanskiii I want to but I use a streaming service that includes Freeview. I’d like @bbc to be independent of any govt Tory or @UKLabour . It needs to become a subscription service
