@TalkTalk It would be nice if you could reduce or remove a £40 charge for an engineer who called but made no inspection of equipment, explained that Freeview channels had been altered; a fact that your customer services were not aware of, but should have known.

I’ve tried to set up my mum’s new Freeview box and it’s not working. I suspect it’s me not the box. Everything online about it brushes over it in a way that suggests only the very stupid wouldn’t know how to do it.

  • Adelaidesammy Sam (@Adelaidesammy) reported

@LBC @darrenadam Most of the youngsters I know have given up Freeview channels but kept Netflix. That way they save money and never have to watch Allsopp. Win win

  • CheungSulty Sulty Cheung (@CheungSulty) reported

@FreeviewTV Hi George, can't find DM (direct email) on freeview website help & support. For my postcode said that there is works in area. Returned now but smart TV is still no and freeview box is OK.

  • Rosa60044194 Rosa 🌹 (@Rosa60044194) reported

@FreeviewTV My freeview down all day. Just went off at 9sm this morning and still off. Have tried retuning etc no success! York area. What is the problem?

  • JayThomasWAFC Jonathan (@JayThomasWAFC) reported

@BazakeMedia @TreborRhurbarb He was watching the game on Freeview and not a subscription service. These people are leeches on society so need to be dissolved in salt.

  • itsmeitsmeandy AM (@itsmeitsmeandy) reported

@carriewarrie1 @RuthieRehh @JackieSharpe1 if they enter your house and you have a tv that plays freeview channels your telly might be switched off you can tell them you never watch live channels they will still do you for it cause you have equipment

  • iMcWarner Jay (@iMcWarner) reported

@virginmedia @SkyUK Virgin media up your game, 20 minutes queuing to speak to customer service about a price improvement, offered another 18 month contract with less services than I have for £60pm and most of the TV is on freesat/freeview. Sky do more for £45pm, You can do better

  • VikShah Vik (yeah, that one) 💙 (@VikShah) reported

@timglanfield Very much depends on the price of the service and whether there's anything else on the channel to justify it. If it was included with Prime or Netflix then yes, but maybe not if it's on something naff like BritBox. I'd rather it went to a Freeview channel such as E4.

  • rowec1 Chris (@rowec1) reported

@kronosarm @Steveonstradey @fesshole English regions HD need to be on Freeview, FreeSat and Sky. Plus backups. Plus switching at network junction points. Plus upgrading regional studios to HD (cameras, edit, play out). Massive expense for 28 mins at 6:30 and 3 x 6 min bulletins. That, or quality content?

  • LumpyPete Lumpy Pete (@LumpyPete) reported

@BBCThree One word. Shallow. Pandering to 'yoof' never works. To think 3 used to have great science and factual shows. Now look. And cramming it back on has messed up my freeview big time, so thanks for that BBC, never seem to get it right these days. #bbc3
