@geoffpgreen @MrsBDent I'd negotiated it down for years and eventually they said no, so I cancelled. 32mb Fibre broadband and HD freeview for £30/month with TalkTalk. Amazon Prime for £80/year. Everything I need.

  • rob_bug Robert Bugalski (@rob_bug) reported from Peterborough, England

@louiseminchin @BBCBreakfast @mrdanwalker I can’t see you now. Once again no Freeview Signal with any BBC channels. I lasted 5 seconds watching @GMB Once the wind has changed direction normal service for a while will resume. @clayton_philip

  • luckystreetDB Daniel Bratcher (@luckystreetDB) reported from Yaxley, England

I have freeview so in order to get my football fix tonight i watched the rerun of last Sunday’s thrilling #mls encounter between la galaxy and Vancouver whitecaps. By god the standard is poor. But I love football so it was great.

  • miss_traceydav Tracey Davies (@miss_traceydav) reported from Corby, England

@CraigS0309 People are arguing about this very advice. Take a Sky engineer, if your Sky box or dish breaks. One person argued it shouldn’t be fixed & use Freeview. Problem with that for me is 1) I don’thave Freeview as no aerial and 2) I pay Sky extra to cover equipment

  • rob_bug Robert Bugalski (@rob_bug) reported from Peterborough, England

As predicted the signal has now gone! I’ll listen to cd’s instead! Freeview in Peterborough is pants ! @FreeviewTV @paulbristow79 @peterboroughtel @PboroughMatters @BBCLookEast

@SamsungUK @SamsungTV What's the situation with Freeview? Do your tvs support the app at least? TVPlus doesn't look very good in comparison

  • dougmcfarlane41 Douglas Mcfarlane (@dougmcfarlane41) reported

Of course the weather has changed and with it the signal from Freeview's temporary mast has yet again changed. Went from all the BBC channels and 6 other channels (no ITV/C4), Then as the warmer weather moved northwards we lost all the BBC channels and after a retune got the 6

  • JohnHuwEvans2 H-yule Evans. Aitch NOT haitch!!!! (@JohnHuwEvans2) reported

@just_j0 NO as I only have Freeview. I don't intend getting any subscription service even if I could justify the cost. I am tempted to tweet about the 109th viewing of TBBT or HIMYM though.

  • blogmywiki Giles Booth (@blogmywiki) reported

Anyone else noticed @FreeviewTV HD reception is exceptionally bad in London this morning? A bit of a lottery since the frequencies changed but I can usually rely on BBC1 and BBC2, fine last night, unwatchable this morning. #freeview

  • angelneptustar angie (@angelneptustar) reported

@Gina09768111 In the UK, Euronews is available, together with a number of other international news channels, via online video subscription service NewsPlayer+ and alongside Africanews on Freeview channel 271 via the Channelbox free streaming service. Try this!!! xxx

  • Scoutdwriter Scout Dawson (@Scoutdwriter) reported

@TimHoelscherX They likely mean cable or network TV, which when you think about it, is accurate. I don't watch TV (I don't have Freeview set up, nor do I have Sky, TiVO or Virgin Cable etc) but I do have Netflix/Prime, which are websites/apps.

  • mashcore4mums fooly (@mashcore4mums) reported

@xandypty AWS Elemental. We had a rackmount box at uni that was dedicated to sending a feed to AWS. We'd do a Degree Show broadcast which would go out on a web page hosted on AWS as well as Freeview DVB-T on a signal that only went as far as the Greenwich peninsula.

  • angelneptustar angie (@angelneptustar) reported

@Gina09768111 @BorisJohnson @euronews Will check if #Euronews is on freeview. Because right now EU in much much worse state than us poor people, they have no vaxes , nor are ppl going to get them. Holland in lockdown, France health system buckling, ditto Germany Hungary, Italy, et al!

  • MarxMedia Mark Blacklock 💙 #JoinAUnion (@MarxMedia) reported

@RosStewart1 I agree. The equipment is so old I'm surprised it can still carry a signal, so the initial costs must have been recovered by now. What they're doing is selling Freeview.

  • poutingpou Kyron Hodgetts (@poutingpou) reported

@Argos_Online @ArgosHelpers I purchased a Humax Freeview recorder from #MerryHill branch. The seal was Broken. The box was missing a ethernet cable. On plugging in I Find it already setup and a recording of BAD GIRLS.
