@piersmorgan It’s a Tory cut to a public service! Let’s not turn this into a BBC hate fest as Twitter seems to do at every opportunity. As a nation I believe we are willing to see an increase in the licence fee to subsidise those who are struggling, Freeview would still be most affordable TV.

@PugTrev Absolutely bang on. The BBC is not an essential service, and the taxpayer should not be forced to pay for it, just for the privilege of watching Freeview on their own television sets! #DefundTheBBC @RishiSunak

I even tried to accept through advanced settings > freeview settings. I clicked terms and conditions and accept, still won’t accept the terms. Is this a freeview play issue or an issue with the tv?

@BartholomewJill @ITVChannelTV We've not heard anything yet, sorry! It's about 4,000 homes which receive their Freeview signal from La Collette which are affected.

@BLAZETVUK I've been trying to enjoy Monster Week but the constant glitches in the sound have been driving me crazy. It's the same on Freeview and Freesat and only your channel. Are you aware of this problem?

@kasey__moore @EntStrategyGuy Freeview & Freesat are anti streaming & free btw besides they’re operating more differently than subchannel networks that mostly only carry classic tv shows. Britain treats TV as a different marketplace & more of a public service than a tech ceo doing charity work in Jackson, MS

@toolegs Some of the US MTV style paranormal investigation shows that used to appear on some of the Freeview channels were truly awful.

@DTIF__ As per article, Freeview is preparing for IP fallback giving users access to Freeview channels via IP. This will be built into newer Freeview Play models as part of CLM support.

@MillieMatters @GaryLineker Well it was useful advice. It's not my problem that you decide not to act on it. So, you're not forced to pay a licence fee. You choose to so you can watch Freeview. You have internet on your phone that you can tether to another device btw.
