Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

  • PhilMcBoobs Philip McHale (@PhilMcBoobs) reported from Barnet, England

@jonnyt78 Not at all. Was supposed to be awful except from some certain sections of the media. Some of the games were of freeview over here as well, I didn’t have a clue

  • Stroudgreenguy J. Alfred Prufrock (@Stroudgreenguy) reported from Tottenham, England

@Channel4 Hello. Can I watch Channel 4 *live* through the All 4 app on smart TV? All I see is catchup. I would like to watch CH 4 news every night but my aerial is broken, no Freeview. Please advise.

  • Dante_Banks Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England

@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

  • themib Martin Bentley, AKA Martin Bentley (@themib) reported from London, England

Also, NXT UK will air on a weeks delay on the Paramount Network, which puts them on Freeview.

  • finneyzair Gary Finney Zair (@finneyzair) reported

@KiszelyPhilip BBC radio superb, money from the licence fee also helps maintain the freeview service. Still regularly watch programmes on it more than any other channel. It still has the biggest audience share of any U.K. tv broadcaster. So this narrative no one watches it, is a lie.

  • DeusFoxy Post Brexit Foxy 🦊 (@DeusFoxy) reported

@RupertLowe10 Make it a hybrid. Skeleton service on Freeview funded by adverts, with the option of a subscription for online ad-free and premium content. Basically the way ITV does it.

@Nigel_Farage @reformparty_uk BBC should be subscription, but if it must be also available non-subscription so that old and/or poor can view live national occasions, Parliamentary debates, addresses to nation, etc, then let that be on Freeview with low-resolution VHS-level picture quality and mono sound.
