    People who have Freeview - is it just a one off cost for the box or subscription and can you record stuff? (Am trying to figure out tv options and can't get virgin and sky i think you need a dish. Aerial is crap here)

    @TroubleDads @virginmedia Completely agree, i felt it was so unfair. What made it worse was that about 4mth after moving in, VM was supplied to the area! They would have known this too. I take great delight in putting as many off of VM as i can, awful company. Happily now have giffgaff and freeview 👍

    @Thebubblegunman @Neverfadingwood I haven't a clue, I've never used Freeview.

  • FatEvilBuddha Photoshop Tourette's 🇺🇦 (@FatEvilBuddha) reported

    @flossybball @murrayhead84 do you have anything else attached to the tv? i.e. freeview box etc? as the sound on that would need knocking down so you don't get fecked on the actual tv

  • christopher_eng Christopher England 🇬🇧 (@christopher_eng) reported

    Just seen that all the programme times on the Freeview version of @talktv 's EPG are 1 hour out. Bet they don't fix it in time for Monday.

  • skipaiotter Skipai Otter (@skipaiotter) reported

    @Evi_SnowMew I learned this back in the early 90s when I moved from analogue mobile to digital network and found places I could make calls within college were suddenly not able to at all. Digital isn't always that great. We have an tv aerial that can't even get digital freeview.

  • FactsStomp Phil's Train and Retro Life (@FactsStomp) reported

    @DimensionsInJen I fully agree but I also wonder if it would help if those who watched or recorded on Freeview/satellite/cable shouldn't also stream it via the iPlayer to ensure it counts. You don't need to watch again, mute the tab and let it run. That's what I'm doing to ensure my view counts.

  • FY5 Lee TJ (@FY5) reported

    Masterclass in customer service from @virginmedia 34 mins on the phone with Customer Services to downgrade part our package, ended up cancelling the lot. Oh hum back to Freeview and ADSL with a 5g backup.

  • daryl_millar Daryl Millar (@daryl_millar) reported

    @hammer_n_tubing I never had Sky, so I consider myself a "pay lite" customer. i.e. Freeview with a few add-ons. It'd make me uncomfortable to know I was paying as much for streaming as a Sky package.

  • WinterHopeUK alan turner (@WinterHopeUK) reported

    @ShaunKehoe @SkyHelpTeam It probably would but think this is big let down with sky glass , the channels that’s missing is bad , I am kicking sky tv in to touch getting a freeview box better and cheaper until sky add more channels to it
