@KerryDaynes @ClairClair211 I can't get Freeview (no terrestrial aerial). Curiously, Discovery+ isn't on FreeSAT, which I do get. Maybe there's some streaming service that includes it - I'll investigate.

@danowen79 @LukeCustardtv NOW sent me a questionnaire about this a little while ago. Sounds like a great TV. I especially like the built-in soundbar. But as a pay-lite customer, I wouldn't pay for full Sky. And no Freeview tuner rules me out.

Dear ITV Put some money in your meter, your channels have gone done down on Freeview.

Mikeapollo (@mikeapollo) reported
@SimonNewton5 @TransAm58 @arqiva ... many areas that are served by relay transmitters (ie. not the main masts - but secondary relays) do not have access to the full range of Freeview channels - the broadcasters decided it is not worth the cost to cover those areas with a primary service, let alone a backup.

@Nur_Jahan786 @SkyUK From what I tell it’s just a Samsung TV which means you could still plug a set top box into one of the HDMIs or use Freeview just like any other tv. I guess this just has the new Sky streaming service built in.

@LucyTurner_x @skytv Yes, £10 per month no matter how many pucks you have. The £50 per box charge is steep though. If broadband goes down, you can’t access any content as it doesn’t have a hard drive so you won’t even have recordings to watch. Only way around that is to have an aerial for Freeview
