People who have Freeview - is it just a one off cost for the box or subscription and can you record stuff? (Am trying to figure out tv options and can't get virgin and sky i think you need a dish. Aerial is crap here)

@hammer_n_tubing I never had Sky, so I consider myself a "pay lite" customer. i.e. Freeview with a few add-ons. It'd make me uncomfortable to know I was paying as much for streaming as a Sky package.

@2004__harry @TeamUkraine2022 Th pq on Freeview is appalling. Looks like American TV from the mid 90's. On Sky it's HD. Likely 2 issues. 1:no space on Freeview multiplexes to squeeze HD on, or 2:Cost to do so is prohibited based on expected advertising revenues.

My exciting Saturday night life… Trying to hunt down “Dis/Informed” … it came out on TV when I was over in Ireland with family. @PBSAmerica is on Freeview apparently. But also an add on channel to Amazon Tv. Subscribe and pay my £3.50 But it’s not there on demand? Grrr / wtf.

@SkyUK Looking at your deals, new customer deals, I need some information that I can't find online. Where can I find out monthly costs after initial 18 months? I found broadband after 18 months (£35.50 for what I picked) but not monthly TV costs - basic channels, freeview.

@piersmorgan It took about 10 minutes to scroll down the channel list on freeview to find a manic loop enthusing over a lookalike GBNews. Don’t think I’ll be doing that again when Coronation Street is on the 📺.

@ShaunKehoe @SkyHelpTeam It probably would but think this is big let down with sky glass , the channels that’s missing is bad , I am kicking sky tv in to touch getting a freeview box better and cheaper until sky add more channels to it
