Freeview now is terrible in 2026, full of shovelware channels and hardly any HD channels, SD channels look awful as well.

Nor does it account for anyone who doesn't want/have broadband.

Road tax was abolished in 1937. Road building and maintenance is paid by general taxation. Revenue from VED just goes into the chancellor’s pot.

You're a kind man and they shouldn't be making decisions like this, which will cause you problems and upset, so it will. They need to be told its not right and the decision needs stopped.
