@karlbeeby @Vlad42250421 @SueSaffa If that's what this dictatorship wants to do, then let's go for a subscription/lo advertising mix, ditch the regional & BBC World functions, slim down a bit, gain real independence, less Interence & Gov can deal with Freeview & pensioners subscriptions. BBC still a global brand.

@RealFloppyLion we were never able to pick up Channel Five on terrestrial, so we had four channels right up until we got Freeview

Can anyone help, please? I'm tempted to switch to BT TV which includes Freeview (with all terrestrial channels). Before I place an order, I'd need to check whether these terrestrial channels (and any other channels) provide subtitles via BT TV. Thanks! #BT #subtitles

@JulieSmith2001 @Forces_TV Oh dear. This is why I could never go back to Freeview Julie. PVR kept crashing for one lol Dodgy aerial here,

  • Tetchywayo Tetchywayo (@Tetchywayo) reported

@orbette Even the slightest wind caused issues with our digital freeview signal (which living on coast made it permanently unwatchable). Most of yer live tv should still be watchable on iPlayer, ITVHub, All4 etc. though.

  • Brekkietweets Brekkie (@Brekkietweets) reported

I swear #Freeview TV was far more resilient to bad weather than before the decent frequencies were sold off to mobile companies. Granted a mobile signal probably more useful in an extreme weather situation than being able to watch ITV+1, but still...

  • JulieSmith2001 Julie Smith (@JulieSmith2001) reported

@MixedRaceSpur @Forces_TV I’ve got a Freeview box which I can record on I can get it through that but the signal is breaking up with the weather, always happens. I tried to get it through the normal TV aerial but the channel wasn’t available & it should be. Retuned the TV now I’ve lost more channels!
