@LarsNewbould Can’t really help much as these two episodes were back to back ( ch 54 on Freeview ) and are the only ones I have seen. Suggest checking the program schedule as I think there are more later in the week. Glad your son has taken an interest in what is a large part of our history.

@allindave1 I’ve never used freeview either come to think of it!

@BBCiPlayerForum anyone help with solutions for how I can get iPlayer working again on my freeview TV? Not fire stick or Roku apps etc. get error 02056 (think it’s that number). I’ve logged out and back on, removed and reinstalled but still no luck. TIA

@LeafNetSco @cordbusters Hi Blake, Freeview and Freesat fall under the same Umbrella, however we operate as two entities as there is slight differences with equipment, signal delivery and channel location from Freeview to Freesat. Freeview currently do not offer Spotlight TV.

  • RobertW04523526 JarlGrBane (@RobertW04523526) reported

@VABVOX Some apps that may help, Plex, Popcorn Flix, Freeview, crackle and Zumo. Amazon prime has a price lowering government option I think still.

  • Northern_Guru Steven A. Wall (@Northern_Guru) reported

@virginmedia But it has still been out for 13 days so far. Also having to use Virgin Mobile data to check for updates on what amounts to a very lacklustre service. A neighbour has had to spend over £200 to get a freeview aerial fitted just so that his wife doesn’t miss her soaps.

  • PlexNetflix Martin Phillp 🔶 (@PlexNetflix) reported

@sianharries_ I don't know, Freeview's standard channels all look bloody awful compared to HD.

  • kirstyharrod Kirsty 🌈 (@kirstyharrod) reported

Has anyone bought a new tv recently? My mum bought a Freeview Logik Android TV recently and it’s absolutely trash. Loads so slowly, can’t record anything. Are cheap TVs just **** now???

  • Trishie_D StarTrish and coffee (@Trishie_D) reported

@AscentAV Thanks! No rush at all. It doesn’t seem to occur agenda I’m using a streaming service - just the freeview channels

  • rutty_uk Dave Rutt (@rutty_uk) reported

@LeadTestInclude We canned Virgin to go with Freeview plus Now Entertainment package. Still fairly cheap I guess. Just about enough programming that isn’t covered elsewhere. The NowTV box we have is rubbish. Awful interface (but it works - no channel numbers for freeview channels)

  • FilmConnolly Phil(ip) Connolly (@FilmConnolly) reported from Eastbourne, England

@MrAbelMagwitch A lot of University students also have access to "Box of Broadcasts" an online catchup service which can show tv programs from all the main freeview channels... they can stream BBC content on without needing a TV license.

  • LMurphyy Lewis Murphy (@LMurphyy) reported

@bt_uk Just ordered, as previously had a failed install due to weak aerial signal. Are the freeview channels now over internet available to be recorded? Thanks
