@LarsNewbould Can’t really help much as these two episodes were back to back ( ch 54 on Freeview ) and are the only ones I have seen. Suggest checking the program schedule as I think there are more later in the week. Glad your son has taken an interest in what is a large part of our history.

@BBCNews just had a message on freeview that had is going - this is a huge mistake, I’ve already stopped watching bbc breakfast because the cut to local news gives that tedious message, also never watch local news as it’s ld, itv is all in hd so they’ve won

@FreeviewAdvice Thanks for the reply George, much appreciated. Guess im.gonna have to go direct and some questions then...! Admittedly I thought it was your owners whose name I forget. Sadly Freeview is becoming a continually more stifled service, it's a shame.

Is there a Freeview TV outage currently? Cannot get TV box to pick up terrestrial channels. Wd be odd if aerial suddenly stopped working. Restarted Humax box, etc etc. It is an old box, but...

@benji_writer @FutureDarren Hahaha, an oldie but a goldie. I watch a lot of 80s pop vids on Freeview. But why are they often such bad quality? And the aspect ratios off?

Did you know a decision is to be made in the next 8 years that will see the demise of freeview. No more tv received via an aerial on the house. Meaning that you will have to pay a subscription for an online streaming service. Backdoor privatisation of the bbc!

@LornaGoodyear Paramount+ is a new streaming service so it's built into many TVs. But actually there are Freeview channels that need an internet connection so yes there are channels thatb can't be watched on normal TVs
