@FreeviewTV @fb2070 My mother has had the same problem. Didn’t have any channels, so I retuned the Freeview box. HD channels are now missing. Can you advise please?

@cleanfeed_ttvr @Ofcom I genuinely don't understand why Freeview seems to be resolutely stuck with DVBT1. Surely at this point the vast majority of STBs and TVs support DVBT2? We just need 1 mux with channels 1-5 & filler for SD only sets & finally let Freeview have a half decent picture quality again

Tonight and tomorrow's warning of freezing fog across parts of England a reminder that in some areas, those weather conditions could cause terrestrial (Freeview) TV and FM/DAB radio interference. Do not adjust your set, or retune if your signal glitches this weekend!

@19mon86 Garbage isn’t it. It’s on par with local Freeview channels. Hearsay suggested that FSG were looking to copy Redsox model with the one stop shop idea. Whether it comes to fruition now is anyone’s guess but maybe the model doesn’t work in the European market bureaucracy.

@IanRedman11 @FreeviewTV Exactly - and it didn't need to be that way - there could have been a plan from the moment the first HD service launched in 2010. Best option now might be a hard switchover (like France did) where Freeview SD basically closes one day and is replaced by a HD equivalent the next.

@Mark56623345 I hear that down to something like the BBC can't rent out any slots to a 3rd party as part of deal the BBC signed with OFCOM to get a Freeview SD multiplex (Now known as BBC A) back in 2002. But The BBC can rent out slots on BBC B - their HD multiplex.

@Brekkietweets @FreeviewTV Freeview is massively stuck in an SD slow lane, and by far the weakest of the TV platforms. Freesat is definitely the better of the two major free TV providers.
