I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

Nor does it account for anyone who doesn't want/have broadband.

However the 'Freely' service currently being touted to replace Freeview in about 15 years time IS a streamed service which WILL be available via set top boxes/inbuilt IP provision in TV sets and probably an 'App'.

Sam 1997 (@SamGate360) reported@retrovinmania79 @NoContextBrits You don't the difference between Freeview/DVB (which is the morden digital version of what you said) and a streaming service that requires you to make a profile account to use the software/service even though you don't like on YouTube. You only pay to get rid of the adverts.

The licence is a poll tax - the poorest and the richest pay the same - and very regressive. Why force the poor to pay to watch freeview tv

x (@sk_tony) reported@Selene_Mariposa The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to: watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky or Freeview) or watch TV live on any streaming service On any device. You can opt out n if you don’t do the above. So it is not a tax for simply owning a TV

Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reported@flyfour How it you manage fix TV Warehouse+1. TV Warehouse is now on Freeview channels 85,86 There's only one Entertainment channel on the Manchester Frequency and thats Freeview channel 80 That's TV UK which is closing on Wednesday.
