@flickeringflxme I’ve never seen that one myself but somehow my granddad ended up buying it for himself which was made weirder by the fact he only had freeview so didn’t even have Disney Channel. He loved it though

  • dave_maydew Dave Maydew MW0DCM (@dave_maydew) reported from Tonyrefail, Wales

@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

  • RobbieCub7 Rob Morgans (@RobbieCub7) reported from Margam, Wales

@FreeviewTV @fb2070 My mother has had the same problem. Didn’t have any channels, so I retuned the Freeview box. HD channels are now missing. Can you advise please?

  • MichaelLeeLewi4 Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported from Aberdare, Wales

@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

  • CSI_Pete Pete Wright (@CSI_Pete) reported

@bt_uk Hi. If I cancel my BT TV, what services would the box be left with please. Just freeview and the recorder? Or completely nothing. Things getting too expensive. Thanks.

  • mikemart1n Mike Martin (@mikemart1n) reported

@StevieClaridge @ichoosemag Dave Hills Dave kills where funny fringed guitarist hunts down comedians who have appeared on the freeview channel. Not suitable for family viewing.

  • pde62 Peter Everett (@pde62) reported

@k1482 @AvonandsomerRob The good lord commonsense. It's about budgets and budgeting. Freeview TV is .... free. So you can't deny it would help household finances, especially for those who are cash-strapped; whether they are employed by the state or not.

  • gordon_gm Gordon D. Morrison 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@gordon_gm) reported

@PhimisterJim @DaveMunrosCat I set that up at the old caravan.... not too bad. use freeview and stream Netflix etc via site WiFi (or phone if busy. 👍👍

  • RichardOcelot Richard (@RichardOcelot) reported

@ceincein Deliberately watching the 10-minute freeview just praying to get caught by their maw. We're not on WhatsApp or anything but her and my auntie used to live together and we sometimes hang out at family things.

  • clevybencheton Cédric Lévy-Bencheton (@clevybencheton) reported

@Yekki_1 Depending on your ISP they may have a TV set top box. I believe they must provide freeview for free. Maybe something you explore? You can also use PLC network plugs if you are too far from the wifi access point.

  • CJP_services Chris (@CJP_services) reported

@SkyNews Oh crap, another subscription to cancel. Already ditched sky. Just amazon prime left and then after that just left with freeview that I have to spend £160 a year to BBC to watch GB News. Hardly free view. Oh well in 1970s we had a mere 3 channels.

  • W31CAS 🇨🇦🏳️‍🌈 (@W31CAS) reported

@AvonandsomerRob Damn right they should. Also, the number of outgoings on luxuries like SKY TV, Netflix etc. plenty of choice on freeview.

  • DaveyBoi73 Dave ♿️ Esq (@DaveyBoi73) reported

@Fibutton Which TV service do you use? Really is available on Freeview 17, Freesat 160, Sky 142, Virgin 129 and discovery+ UK.
