Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported from Aberdare, Wales@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

When Freeview is turned off a mix of subscription for drama and entertainment shows and funding from general taxation for children’s, educational and current affairs programmes would seem sensible.

Tom (@TomCushnie) reported@x20mjs @AvonandsomerRob The World Cup feed is full range HDR and because our infrastructure is so far behind technlogy they crush the colours into a limited range to fit into Freeview. Red and yellows look really bad with this. Although it looks like BBC are handling the picture better

Carol Jane (@hebe_jane) reported@BigNGandBertie @sleafordmods I bought a Firestick for around £25. All the Freeview channels are available without Prime. The ITV app is incredibly slow and glitchy through my set top box/DVR, but works well on the Firestick.

Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2
