@nowtvhelp It’s ok they’ll tell to do the exact same things I’ve done already. It’s working now but for how long. And your live chat very rarely works. Or there’s a long wait to speak to someone. When the passes are finished I’ll just cancel and stick to freeview amazon prime and Netflix

@MrRandomGuy93 @ImVaradi @davywright65 I was Head of Project Management at the BBC in 2002 and was responsible for creating Freeview in 6 months after ITV Digital failed after years of trying. Maybe you think someone waved a magic wand and it was born in a garage. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 You muppet (although I don’t want to be rude)

  • MrRandomGuy93 That Random Guy (@MrRandomGuy93) reported

@abline11 @ImVaradi @davywright65 No, I don't need to, I have a garage for that. Whilst I don't want to sound rude, your generation make me laugh when they try and act like they're so much more intelligent but don't even know how to tune in a digital TV to get freeview.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

Anyone with a satellite receiver, including Sky/Freesat (if you know how to manually tune it) can access these broadcasts. Your receiver will need to support HbbTV 2.0 to see the accessible Freeview guide. @cleanfeed_ttvr @tvlive

  • geeemac George M (@geeemac) reported

@PhilipsCare_UK had great customer service from you guys in the past, but the problem constantly comes back. ‘Playback failed’ on iplayer, 4od.. all freeview channels, to the point where I can’t use my tv as a tv. And yes, have reset everything, it’s the latest software, etc etc

  • gazzaeuro Gary Spence (@gazzaeuro) reported

BBC One SD is working on Freeview but BBC One HD isn't, the Bilsdale signal is weak and unstable. But the picture just went off. P.S. The English regional programmes won't be in HD until next year. #Bilsdale

  • cypressbill1980 Robert (@cypressbill1980) reported

@hackerb0t Example. I was at a recycling dump and a guy was throwing away a huge LG LCD screen. I said whats up with it? he said"cant get it to tune into tv signal" He said I could take it. Plugged in my pc, ps3 & freeview terrestrial tv box using the scart/hdmi all worked. Opportunities

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

Viewers in NE England: The Bilsdale transmitter is still off-air after a fire. Engineers are working to re-route signals from other transmitters to bring Freeview back - hundreds of thousands of homes should see signal return today. We appreciate your patience.

  • PaulDel70889969 Paul Delaney (@PaulDel70889969) reported

@FreeviewAdvice Freeview didn't start a fire that caused the damage...nor did the company who now manage it. How quick do you think it takes to put up a temporary mast that's over 1000ft high (so that it still reaches everybody affected). You can't expect anyone to just throw a tower up..

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@pigletish @roselc04 Hi Anneli, You can acquire Freeview boxes from most retailers, both online and in-store! In regards to indoor aerials, we do not recommend them as they are not guaranteed to provide a signal, they depend on a good line of sight to the transmitter to receive a signal. Dev.
