@hmd_db @TraceyRBurns @michaeljswalker Completely untrue, Freeview (the bare minimum TV service without internet or dish) carries far more than BBC channels and Channel 4. The inability to use ones TV is not the BBCs fault.

@toryboypierce @BBC We don’t just have 4 channels anymore, with tv on demand and freeview....this shouldn’t even be a issue anymore. Just watch something else.

@andyjhpool @sha8erpr00f @mandapen Not that I'm a fan of the hyperbolic coverage , but almost everyone has either SKY or Freeview , both of which have HUNDREDS of other channels available. But now I can't get grandad off babe station. Damn you BBC !

Is anyone else having reception problems on #SkyArts (Freeview 11)? It’s really spoiling the music!

@gabyhinsliff I really don't get what the issue was. Everyone's got access to Freeview, there's 90 other channels to watch if, you don't want to watch coverage of something. It's less stressful to use your remote than complain. Not a Royalist just not that bothered.

@BrixtonBobbyBob @mandapen Yes. Channel 4 or any of the other Freeview channels people never bother watching. Yes , it sucks that favourite shows were cancelled for the night but folk who say there was nothing else on TV are employing hyperbole.

@Sotlive No, on freeview there are hundreds of channels for people to pick. If they subscribe to a TV service, even more. It's not like people didn't have a choice to watch it or turn over.
