  The cost of cable back home is ridiculously too high. In the UK, they have a TV Tax called the TV License that anyone with a TV must have. It costs roughly $20 a month. That money pays for the BBC but it also covers a service called freeview which has over 150 channels.

  @Dee_Cab1 They are running it in the evenings on Freeview channel 34, “Great! TV” it is called. Thank goodness they are showing the version that doesn’t have the awful added laugh track.

  I bet the advertisers on #Freeview movie channels must be making a massive loss with all really old war and western films they put on but only all the actors dead most of the people that remember these films will be dead as well. Who the hell likes these **** old movies?

  @SkyNews @haynesdeborah What a **** service is sky atlantic. 35 pounds a month not worth at all. Just ads ads ads and more ads in an interface which is an absolute ****. wishing my 2 years contract to finish so i can get rid of it. I almost have less channels than with freeview. A total scam.

  @LeeVicarage @NewsMurray Yep from 2029 I think no more sky dish you can’t even order sky q now as a new customer it’s all gonna be sky stream , so if I can’t record anything anyway I’ll stick with Netflix and freeview

  @InfiniRunner @thesimpsonRFC Football commentary is never online, as it says, due to licensing restrictions. Only radio or freeview for free, or paid something's through the clubs follow/in house media.

  i hope TNA pulls back somehow, also hope they put their foot down about this WWE partnership, be it gaining something from them or just cutting the tie entirely TNA has a special place in my heart since i wasnt able to watch wwe without sky sports and they were on freeview 😔

  @JAMESRW1981 @SeddSezz I don't have any streaming services apart from Freeview play, all my lights are LED, I don't heat my house unless it's bitterly cold, I don't smoke, never have. I like a couple of beers after working 9-12 hrs a day. Hardly ever get takeaways or take the Mrs out for a meal.
