  The BBC freeview digital signal is so bad in Devon Pixilated on & off then a complete loss during the England game? All other channels bar BBC2 worked fine. Had to watch on the laggy BBCi player that was also problematic. I paid for this service. Piss poor service.

  He is a disgrace for moving to the middle east when he could have easily become one of the bests in his position. The Series has been downgraded to a freeview network that noone cares about. Happy scoring!

  @Selene_Mariposa The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to: watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky or Freeview) or watch TV live on any streaming service On any device. You can opt out n if you don’t do the above. So it is not a tax for simply owning a TV

  @DarranPearce @DJL78 Instead the BBC flood the screens with antiques, quizzes, property programmes and we don't have a choice as to whether to pay the licence fee or not! Call me old-fashioned, but TV was much better years ago and most of the Freeview channels are sheer crap!

  @RetroKeithyD @dave43law I've got Freeview and Freely. Freely is great where you have bad reception. But it eats data. If you have a lower use broadband package you will need to pay for unlimited use. That could hit people on lower incomes. Also had to reboot it a few times, too technical for some.

  @iggy1966 @BENEFITS_NEWS They don't really, Chris... However the 'Freely' service currently being touted to replace Freeview in about 15 years time IS a streamed service which WILL be available via set top boxes/inbuilt IP provision in TV sets and probably an 'App'.

  I’m staying at daughters this week and their internet is down and off until after 9 tonight. How is this going to work when they remove freeview especially for the oldies when it’s there only company in life. Mad idea.
