@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

  • KAK_Tweets Krys Cross! Cha Cha Real Smooth (@KAK_Tweets) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@flickeringflxme I’ve never seen that one myself but somehow my granddad ended up buying it for himself which was made weirder by the fact he only had freeview so didn’t even have Disney Channel. He loved it though

  • MichaelLeeLewi4 Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported from Aberdare, Wales

@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

@jasondcoles Hi Jason, unfortunately LG and Digital UK were unable to reach an agreement for a Freeview Play device in time for the rollout of our 2020 TV range. However, we are working with the broadcasters to support the remaining UK catch-up apps as soon as possible. (1/2)

You can have Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, Apple TV+, Disney+, Hulu, HBO, Quibi, MUBI, All4, ITV Hub, Freeview, Sky, a hoard of DVDs, a VHS library, a crystal ball, a glass shard cursed by a witch, but if you want to watch a specific movie go **** yourself it’s nowhere

  • JSDMN87 Jen (@JSDMN87) reported

@NOWHelpTeam since the update the smart box (the freeview version) is really slow and can’t watch tv from the TV guide, have to go into the nowtv bit. Is this issue going to be resolved? Some shows are glitching too. My broadband is working perfectly. #nowtv

@redparaman @colinbrazierGBN I have a fairly new LG and the Freeview app came pre-installed, but won't I need a fv aerial for it, it's not going to load anything just because an Internet connection is there, I've never loaded fv before, don't know how it works, I use streaming apps for all media.

  • Cartoonist_Rob Rob The Cartoonist (@Cartoonist_Rob) reported

@Philips It's buggered! Freeview Play and all its associated Apps have all stopped, producing error FVP-300 and FVP-400. Even the @RakutenTV app has stopped. Can you do an urgent fix, please? This is caused from your recent update and many people are affected.

  • Cartoonist_Rob Rob The Cartoonist (@Cartoonist_Rob) reported

@Philips Hi! As of this afternoon, Freeview Play and associated Apps have started working again. A reply from FVP also states they have had an issue. Hopefully all fixed now. Thanks for your help.

  • gemisinlondon Gem (@gemisinlondon) reported

@MattWWoolwich Haha, my TV only has apps and not conventional channels other than some bizarre Samsung random channels, never really saw the point of getting Sky or freeview as it’s just mainly Netflix these days!

  • anthea_bailey Anthea Bailey (@anthea_bailey) reported

Has anyone else got the Apple TV. Connection for their TV? It’s a nightmare and the worst possible way to watch TV. EE have given up their excellent system so I has no choice. Talk about long winded routes to watch. Mostly we have gone back to Freeview in the TV.

  • Big_Tim47 BigTim47 (@Big_Tim47) reported

@S66Cams @leximaecarter If only we could have Lexi on for just part of the night! Stayed up to stupid o’clock to discover she’s ON FREEVIEW for HOURS not appearing in Sky at all!! We pay a frigging SKY subscription! Feel ripped off after signing up today! Is this a piss take?!

  • qslikely Quentin's Backdraft (@qslikely) reported

@Clare_Dales @PeoplesPool Yes, on iPlayer. Called Dhan Uisge (To The Water). I'm never sure about which Freeview transmitter transmits what group of channels. On satellite , if its up there for the UK, you can get it. No effing govt flogging off little bits of it!
