@FreeviewTV The FREEVIEW transmitter on Guildford's Hog's Back is DOWN. No Freeview TV reception in and around Guildford. No updates on social media. UNPRECEDENTED! No idea when NORMAL service will resume. That gets me ANGRY.

@AnnalisaB Well, immerse yourself in Channel 51 on Freeview, Annalisa, which calls itself ‘Great Movies Christmas’ [sic] and has been showing round-the-clock crap Christmas movies for some weeks now!🦃

@NOWMusic Hey if you insist in having a music channel on Freeview can you please make sure the audio bitrate doesn’t sound garbage? The compression is painful

Obviously today they'd be issues anywhere but generally speaking finding Freeview HD muxes far less resiliant than they used to be. As much as I think a switch to an HD/T2 only platform is long overdue I guess there are advantages to having the SD backup for the main chanenls.

@TreeHouseBkshop I feel I'm missing out on this too, but I've always relied on Freeview. There's more TV than I can spend time watching, so I've never seen the point of paying for content I'll never get around to viewing - until now!

  • torkingt1 Trevor (@torkingt1) reported

Watching ‘The Silent Enemy’ on Freeview. Must be the only black and white war film I’ve never seen before.
