@JWhittingdale says that he’s asked why they don’t make BBC a subscription service but you can’t do that while majority of people receive their TV through Freeview. May eventually change, but we’re a long way from that. Licence fee debate will be part of 2027 charter review.

@HumzaYousaf @Stuart_McDonald . watching Freeview every advert features a black or mixed race actor I can see why people get antsy - and poor white people don't have community or identity... But that is different to the bullying of brown people that follows or rejecting that on colonialism need re-educating

  • Birkers5 ʙɪʀᴋᴇʀꜱ (@Birkers5) reported

@JamesHReeve @dave_brammer Stop Press: It was on one of the oddball Freeview movie channels on Sunday I recorded it for my missus who had never seen it. She watched it tonight and loved it. Kitchen sink drama/comedic overtones due to cringingly accurate portrayal of 50's Bolton.

  • TalkingPicsTV Talking Pictures TV (@TalkingPicsTV) reported

@searleyandrew Andrew we have no problems at playout. You would need to speak to your service provider of you are having a localised problem. How are you watching us? Freeview etc?
