@ClarNiUigin I wasn't sure how it worked on a free freeview box so was hoping it was a simple solution for you! Sometimes just a quick look can find these things. Glad it worked out

@CatharineHoey @GBNEWS Its broadcast on a signal that is airborn. You dont need a subscription or license to openly receive a freely broadcast signal on devices openly sold with the ability to receive it, otherwise you'd have to pay the annual fee when you buy a tv and freeview wouldnt be built in.

@SamSmette Similar really, if theres a catchup service we use that but if its a film or something on, say, Sky Arts (on freeview) I might want to record it. I dont record a great deal.

@a516digital The same with freeview, dispite the fact i cant get this service even after my best efforts, those that can should have all the hd at the start, i know theres less coming up when mux 7 closes, but its the way forward.

@Simon_OW Wasn't it terrible? It was like something you'd see on an obscure Freeview channel, not the platform with the biggest original content budget in the world.

@a516digital In my current location freeview is only possible when we get tropospheric lift conditions, and that never always provides the right transmitter, we get swamped out, the local mast, is oxford, but were behind huge trees at the bottom of a hill etc.

@dedado6 @GBNEWS No, Freeview and Freesat are different. Freeview is a digital terrestrial service and is received via a TV aerial. Freesat is a satellite service and is received via a satellite dish. The channels are largely the same but there are differences.

@Darksparks1 @thewle Not giving up, can't vote because there is no choice other than LibLabCon. Say what I think on twitter but it's just pissing into the wind. Generally I'm up for a laugh, Freeview, Sky, Netflix and Amazon Prime mainly crap but have Audible and Kindle unlimited too.
