  • J_P_Quin James Quin (@J_P_Quin) reported

Well ****. The Bilsdale TV transmitter that serves the North Yorkshire region is currently on fire. So that means no Freeview telly until the problem is sorted out.

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@stonecoldjohn73 Hi, You may receive your signal from another transmitter. Good news you have your Freeview reception restored. Please DM your postcode, house name/number if you require further advice. Kind Regards Melissa

  • WendyM53 WM53 #RuleBritannia #LandOfHopeAndGlory (@WendyM53) reported

I take it we're not alone in all channels having no signal from the Bilsdale transmitter on @Freeview?

  • DBofficial125 DBofficial125 (@DBofficial125) reported

@YVimalathevan @TrishSpeirs48 @TheJudasSociety But freeview is a big deal? The biggest channels are freeview in the UK. Being on a barely used subscription service is awful for growth. I suspect WWE get a better financial package in exchange however.

  • teweybear Sharon Tew (@teweybear) reported

@bt_uk No issues with Freeview at all (ie watching through the TV using the external aerial and built in Freeview). As soon as we switch to BT box, picture pixelates. Does this answer your Q’s?!

  • AllanLear6 Allan Lear (@AllanLear6) reported

@Dean0076103703 @GaryLineker No, sorry, you're lying. The BBC funds two of the six multiplexes that deliver Freeview and Freesat content nationally. If you scrapped the licence fee, you'd have to fund that from somewhere else. If you don't understand the issue, it's best to reserve judgement.
