Freeview Issues Reports Near Linlithgow, Scotland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Linlithgow and nearby locations:

  • dilly_dot DIANE SAMUEL (@dilly_dot) reported from Bathgate, Scotland

@istanbulfiona @LesleyRiddoch Away down at Channel 82 on Freeview. Why not #BBCSCOTLAND

  • tartan1314 Fiona Collie (@tartan1314) reported from Bonnybridge, Scotland

@BBCPhilipSim Maybe it's time to make BBC a commercial channel ie no licence. They can then raise income from advertising & charge for iplayer service (believe is being considered). That way no person would have a licence to pay & would only buy in other services they wanted above freeview

@thewoke4ive **** off g u werent with me freeview days

  • MarkLeicester7 MarkLeicester (@MarkLeicester7) reported

@cjayanetti @CarefulTweeter Not sure about that. I have never sat down one evening to go online & watch it, but if it was on Freeview and there was nothing else on then I might channel hop onto it for a bit. It's niche, but unlike the right with their countless options, there's not much else similar.

@AndyCla05536869 @vimfuego1234 @PrisonPlanet programming (all offset by big profitable productions). Then we add maintaining the infrastructure of Freeview and FreeSat (how the poor and elderly traditionally access television). Oh & writing the scripts. And directing the shows. And editing them. Yeah, sure you could. (2/2)

    @ImmuneNaturally @LozzaFox @TalkTV Yup its **** on freeview atm

  • Peter_Mugridge Peter Mugridge (@Peter_Mugridge) reported

@Saltbar Good God no - I watch on a proper TV with Freeview and only very, very, rarely watch something on whatever channel's iPlayer service it is - and then only if it's something I miss when it's broadcast and I didn't record it either. Is that what you're doing? Online only viewing?

  • nasirjamil Nasir Jamil (@nasirjamil) reported

I am in KMTV office now and will be live at 5:38 pm on freeview channel 5 , Sky 159 . Talking about the current issues .

  • ImmuneNaturally John Kelley (@ImmuneNaturally) reported

@LozzaFox @TalkTV For us TalkTV on freeview has become unwatchable the signal strength appears to much weaker this last week just enough for it be there but blocky with constant audio interruption as such unwatchable. They did the same thing to RT before banning it outright. All other channels ok.

  • PiesMcQ Pies McQ (@PiesMcQ) reported

@russty_russ when it came to an end, there were 5 mainstream channels, there was no freeview, no netflix, no streaming at all, to split the audience share- and sky was still crap. it was crap, and far outlived its natural life good riddance, pity it didn't end Noel Edmonds' career as well.

  • PipJGreen Pip Green (@PipJGreen) reported

Frustrating that communal Freeview TV aerial in a @THHomes block still not working despite repair promised for last Wednesday. Signal distorted, intermittent or non-existant depending on channel. Minor, unless getting out for entertainment is an issue.
