@Robin_Askwith Enjoy your break from filming, Robin. I was having a bad day until I saw that "Confessions From A Holiday Camp " is on tv here in the UK this evening- 23.20 hrs on Talking Pictures, Freeview 82.

@SkyHelpTeam Well done Sky When your box breaks down Freeview is not available Is it true that most people use "dodgy" boxes only I cannot understand why?

@SteveWalesPhoto @StansaidAirport @DavidBflower That's modern technogy, we still have our Baird 405 line set with those spindly screw in legs. Problem is reception of Freesat / Freeview is frankly rubbish. But we like that screensaver when we turn off at night. This fading dot - riveting.

Awful picture for this U21 match. Like watching Freeview on a smart tv.

.@AJEnglish is the only channel on my sky box that says No Satellite Signal is being received consistently. Al Jazeera has also been removed from FreeView. It’s like someone doesn’t want you getting any news except from those that have supported Israel during its genocide.

@GetLustCast @nad8348 @grandi_fan Yup, they got me it. It was shite, I think someone joked why do you need it after the 15 minute freeview. I’d stick a vhs in to record it from midnight to 4am only to find half of that **** was some ****** talk show with fat old **** Derek Botham and annoying **** Eric Hall

  • skipaiotter Skipai Otter @cohost/skipaiotter (@skipaiotter) reported

@bad1ands True but I don't think the UK Gov would want to do that as it's too costly. What if mobile network went down? There has to be other ways here. Even if there's emergency broadcast masts put up that transmit on everything. VHF, UHF, Freeview, Freesat, Sky, Cable, etc.
