Worst picture quality for new channel @GBNEWS on #Freeview it’s 2021 not 1942! #GBNews

ITV HD looks like **** on Freeview, is everybody throwing bitrates into a skip again to fit more trash on?

@GBNEWS Dreadful picture on freeview, near complete collapse of digital signal. Sky picture good. One urgent improvement needed for the hard of hearing - subtitles! Maybe a ticker tape line running across the top of the screen?

@Patricia344130 For me, 1) Image seems a bit grainy on Freeview, isn't it in HD. 2) a few sound issues. 3) don't like the dark set used by @afneil it just looked very dated / amateurish. But it's the content that matters and so far so good. The teething issues will get sorted.

@femme_uk @GBNEWS Yes, few teething problems but I've always found Freeview less than reliable.

@JoeChapman87 @GBNEWS Freeview 236, you may need to retune your tv. A few teething problems as it only began airing tonight but it’s a different take on news which is something I was looking for. #GBNews

GB News is like one of those local channel 7 Freeview stations. Awful sound, cameras out of focus, and pretty sure one of the cameras is in 25p rather than 50i. I was involved in the launch of a TV channel, and we nailed it from day one. And as for the content…! #gbnews

Dear @GBNEWS Been reading about your new tv station with @danwootton & some bad George Best tribute act Could you please sign Eamonn Holmes, Nigel Farage, David Icke, Lee Hurst, get a 20-year deal for Mrs Brown's Boys, and put it on Freeview 200+ where no one will ever see it?
