  @FreeviewAdvice My Freeview channels were broken up so I tried to retune, and only South TV channels came up & only BBC1, BBC2, BBC4 and the children's BBC channels. So I tried retuning again and I can find not ONE single channel. Please help me. Thanks

  @Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

  @itvnews I complained about that awful erectile disfunction advert that appears on some Freeview channels, sometimes in the day & at teatimes, when kids will be watching & they didn't do anything! They said it was fine. It's not nice when young grandkids ask what erectile disfunction is!

  @LillacTyanu This is the most accurate breakdown in the thread, so thank you. You are right, the fee is for live TV, Freeview comes preloaded, and if you never connect the aerial or watch live you do not owe it. They can chase you, but the burden is on them to prove you watched. That nuance is the whole ballgame. The fee leans on people not knowing they already have the exit. You clearly do. 🦋

  Does anyone who sees this know how to watch ITV WC other than via the app when you don’t have access to freeview? The STV app is forced on us Scottish viewers by ITV & is utter CRAP quality for live footie & I don’t have access to freeview, I use a fire stick & no aerial. 😭😭😭

  @TalkTV @cjsnowdon @iancollinsuk I don’t necessarily believe a sub model would work, but as an initial step they should require subscription-based logins at least for their TV and web-based services (radio maybe less practical). Maybe just have SD broadcasts on Freeview and require streaming for HD due to practicalities (Sky shouldn’t be an issue). This way those who don’t pay (for a license) will find it hard to view, and it would also cut off more overseas users who view without paying.

  Worst case scenario on That's TV channels on Freeview I'm posting this because Freeview channel 75 That's Entertainment deadline is over and nothing been broadcasting yet the deadline was on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. Freeview channel 7 & 8 That's Local channels are not affected by this. All That's channels on Freeview will be removed from the EPG without notice.   @reformparty_uk Most working classes have a dodgy stick and pay about £100 for every channel known to man. They couldn't give a **** about Freeview. You clearly know your voters.
