  @ollocoll Bring in food stamps. No car, only able to watch freeview, no internet, family of 5 should only get a 3 bed house and use bunk beds. No holidays. No phone contracts. They get a government issue phone. We need to stop rewarding laziness. People with disabilities can have luxuries.

  @JoshCF_ They're a joke now, two years ago the deal was £45 with basic freeview and Sky Q and now it's £63. They've also ended customer support on here and UK based customer calls. The app regularly messes up now, doesn't recognise you've paid and you end up getting charged again 😑

  @BladeoftheS I do support the BBC and agree it needs an alternative method of funding. When Freeview is turned off a mix of subscription for drama and entertainment shows and funding from general taxation for children’s, educational and current affairs programmes would seem sensible.

  Worst case scenario on That's TV channels on Freeview I'm posting this because Freeview channel 75 That's Entertainment deadline is over and nothing been broadcasting yet the deadline was on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. Freeview channel 7 & 8 That's Local channels are not affected by this. All That's channels on Freeview will be removed from the EPG without notice.   @Jcaird2 It’s basically freeview albeit a bit cut down via the internet. We have been fine without aerial anyway and missed nothing we like but it will be nice to flick through stuff again and stumbling on something to watch.
