@Philips @philips_uk @FreeviewTV I recently purchased a Philips Ambilight 55PUS8204/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Google Assistant does it support Freeview play as I can't get the apps to work.

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@StainlessSRat @HobdellTerry @utv You’ve misunderstood me. They’re still on my Sky box. They’ve disappeared from the Saorview/Freeview boxes. The issue is I can’t record them on Sky, but I have a hard drive on the Saorview ones.

I got my current TV 2 years ago and having no Internet this morning I've just had to learn how to navigate the regular TV side of it instead of streaming. The selection of stuff on offer is shockingly bad on Freeview. 😱 At least I can still listen to @KerrangRadio! 🤘

@RupertLowe10 Are you thick or just determined to keep on spreading BS? It's impossible under for the BBC to become a subscription service because you CAN'T charge under subscriptions via Freeview - which is how most access TV. Any change would be a Tax to support local radio & TV Advertising

I’ve tried to set up my mum’s new Freeview box and it’s not working. I suspect it’s me not the box. Everything online about it brushes over it in a way that suggests only the very stupid wouldn’t know how to do it.

@NHSuk @bbchealth People should not have to 'Search, better health NHS' on Freeview. The BBC should provide a 24 hour channel especially for people with poor access to the Internet & who work long hours. The UK could have uniform, consistent, upto date, World standard information

I'd be surprised if a new weekly TV magazine launched. Although I guess it's possible, maybe one just providing listings for Freeview? Of course, not only would this depend on gaining readers, pricing would also be an issue.

@Forces_TV rapidly becoming one of the best channels on TV but alas it's no longer showing on the BT box because of weak signal in the Sunderland area so cannot watch, or record anything for catch-up later. Is this a transmitter issue? @bt_uk Still getting it via Freeview on TV
