@MrMalky Get tae **** !! Freeview is a wash with their content and the reason why people stump.up for NetFlix. I give it a year not personally I can't tell you the last thing I watched on ITV and BBC can **** right off !

@kentindell Tbh every time I turn on my LG it asks if I want to programme channels. I have no antenna connected. I use it for streaming and Sky so never needed freeview etc. not so smart smart Tv

@virginmedia all my channels including freeview ones are giving the message 'channel not authorised' this morning, I've rebooted and still the same, any help please??

@NaomiLWood @Digbylj Common misconception. BBC doesn't receive EU subsidy. It has made use of grants to help set up DAB radio and Digital Freeview switchover but this money (around £4m) wasn't used for programming or content. This info is quite widely available.

@LGUK Just bought a brand new 2020 model smart TV. Outrageous that it doesn’t support Freeview play. Can’t get ITV player or All4. Thought that’d be standard. Knew I should have went for the Samsung. Looks like a trip back to the shop to return it #LG #Wasteofmoney
