@Thomoli @PhilipsCare_UK I’ve been waiting 8 weeks for same issue not worked for me since I bought my TV. I dont have an aeriel tho just satellite cable connected & internet but no catch up aps work or freeview

@timpez123 It can be, it entirely depends on your Wi-Fi, it relies on that entirely, if your wife is down the TV is pretty much defunct apart from if you have an arial in it for free view. Same applies if you cancel the sky subscription, the TV is basically a dead tv other than freeview

@GBNEWS Meaning I only have Freeview do have access to BBC but that is what it is spinning, Sky cinematic shots of explosions not bad but repeated endlessly GB News doing a sterling job I have heard discussioms & you have taken polls must say it's good.

There's an important point to be made about internet freedom and search algorithms but I can't be bothered all that so... The internet is like Freeview now. "Do you want this crap thing you didn't ask for on CNN 1, CNN 2, or CNN extra?" 😾

@InJDWeStan Don't have anything. Except 6mths free disney+as changed my o2 contract & lowered cost. Only ever get prime when they email for free or 99p a week offer. With not working for past year and half, got be careful. Got freeview otherwise

@RadioTimes Thx. Lenovo Android tablet with latest Firefox. Clicking Freeview (or other things) causes the display to flicker repeatedly very fast, and I can see the text briefly "server error" between the screens it is displaying. I'm now using the freeview website tv guide without problem

@benonwine Get plenty of practice here in rural Devon, where the power and internet go off quite regularly, and many of us have no mobile signal at all (or mains sewage, decent water pressure, gas, public transport, road repairs, freeview signal - you name it, we don't have it)
