(@Godpikachusan) reported@TheMekon_Venus at one point Bread was being shown on an endless loop on the "Thats entertainment" freeview channel, alongside "man about the house" and "Steptoe & Son". I never found bread to be funny or entertaining in any way, and other than the phrase "lilo lil", it is not memorable.

Tom (@TomCushnie) reported@x20mjs @AvonandsomerRob The World Cup feed is full range HDR and because our infrastructure is so far behind technlogy they crush the colours into a limited range to fit into Freeview. Red and yellows look really bad with this. Although it looks like BBC are handling the picture better

LDH Marketing (@LDHMarketing) reported@BENEFITS_NEWS It also eats up a lot of your broadband. No problem if you're on an unlimited package, but for people on cheaper, restricted usage packages, that will cost. Freely is good where reception is poor, but Freeview is still needed.

(@Matt_Q_OnX) reported@BENEFITS_NEWS Well for a start the Freeview service is guaranteed until at least 2034 and likely to be phased out over a period of time; unlikely before about 2040. 'Freely' is currently being touted as the IPTV replacement - From about £70 for a set-top box; this price will drop dramatically.

LondonUnity (@londonA84648) reported@TheGriftReport There are millions of pensioners and older folks who do not have broadband, do not want broadband, would never manage with a new television / apps, and rely on their Freeview television service to stay connected to the outside world Switching off Freeview would effectively be an isolation/ death sentence for many of these people

Efootball🏴 (@Efootballgame1) reported@ollocoll Bring in food stamps. No car, only able to watch freeview, no internet, family of 5 should only get a 3 bed house and use bunk beds. No holidays. No phone contracts. They get a government issue phone. We need to stop rewarding laziness. People with disabilities can have luxuries.
