    Looks like freeview is down across Teesside. No TV or radio signal..

    Can’t believe how truly terrible EETV is. Tuning freeview channels is atrocious. Currently get 43, no BBC, ITV or any basic ones using new aerial. If it does find them they just disappear. Bedroom TV gets all the freeview ones and that’s on an old aerial in the same spot. #EETV

    @RupertLowe10 Make it a hybrid. Skeleton service on Freeview funded by adverts, with the option of a subscription for online ad-free and premium content. Basically the way ITV does it.

    @ArchRose90 Its about time we had choice and not an arbitrary tax just to watch OTHER channels on freeview who are funded by adverts. BBC should be funded through adverts or by a subscription service

    @KiszelyPhilip BBC radio superb, money from the licence fee also helps maintain the freeview service. Still regularly watch programmes on it more than any other channel. It still has the biggest audience share of any U.K. tv broadcaster. So this narrative no one watches it, is a lie.

    @by_niels21222 @RupertLowe10 Have advertising. We should also consider what the licence fee funds. DAB, & Freeview rely in licence fee funding to operate. The World Service & BBC online are vital to many expats who'd risk losing their connection with the UK if they weren't there. There'd be no
