    @Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

    @Jake_Kanter I look forward to @afneil explaining how that would work technically for all the tens of millions of homes that get all their TV through Freesat and Freeview. Spoiler - there is no solution that doesn't cost billions and a decade to implement

    @FreeviewTV @bbc can you confirm that TVs or devices that have the Freeview logo must give free access via an aerial (signal dependant) to all your listed TV & radio stations, without need for any additional internet connections and if so are there guidelines that can be sent?

    @georgegalloway Oh hang on.. It doesn't look like it is. I'm pretty sure it was removed from freeview and cable though.

    And does this apply to Freeview Play TVs also when not being connected to an internet feed. Many thanks, have an issue with a TV to try and resolve

    I can finally give my 31 days notice to **** sky off altogether. Since October, I've paid £15 a month for Freeview from my Q box. £15 a month for FREEview. I've currently been waiting over half an hour in the "loyalty queue", I will ******* win.

    @yorkyqui It will likely never hit freeview, it's an Apple TV show, exclusively on Apple TV. If you want to watch it on a laptop or tablet I'm happy to share my login. My tv has Apple TV as an app, like Iplayer...

    @robyoung20 I could never understand why they were ever allowed to waste a full HD channel on Freeview, and as for Alex Salmond and others taking their money, disgusting, I don’t hold the SNP, or others, in any way related to this though. It’s certain individuals that sold their souls.
