@BBCPhilipSim Maybe it's time to make BBC a commercial channel ie no licence. They can then raise income from advertising & charge for iplayer service (believe is being considered). That way no person would have a licence to pay & would only buy in other services they wanted above freeview

  • dilly_dot DIANE SAMUEL (@dilly_dot) reported from Bathgate, Scotland

@istanbulfiona @LesleyRiddoch Away down at Channel 82 on Freeview. Why not #BBCSCOTLAND

@freesat_tv not so smart as no All4, 4music, freesports, freezes all the time, no date on some recordings, ethernet error messages wrongly reporting, sound dissappeared. Customer service poor. Try Youview, Freeview play or freesat from Sky. Or call freesat & complain.

@RedJohnBounds In the big Freeview retune yesterday, I was disappointed not to see gbnews included in the new channel arrangements. I'd have liked to block it as a "**** you" to A Neil and his fascist tory establishment mates.

  • StephenMilne8 Stephen Milne (@StephenMilne8) reported

@Mmelulu Never heard of such a thing! Sounds a bit like a Freeview box, never understood that either!

  • milliebarton miimii. (@milliebarton) reported

I grew up needing to use a pencil to stab the hole made by the button falling off the on switch on my tv, and having to prop my freeview box at an angle to get signal.. now kids grow up saying ‘Alexa, turn the tv on’ ..**** is crazy

  • gildy61 Random Jottings of Gildersleeve (@gildy61) reported

@shellyreddy2 I'm glad Sky Arts finally decided to become free and offer a service on Freeview.

  • SaltireLady SaltireLady (@SaltireLady) reported

@EbuyerHelp Hi, I bought a new Cello C4020G Smart Tv on 19/09/2020. Now having a lot of issues with it, unresponsive, apps won’t open, ones that do lag in playback, as does Freeview Play, completely out of sync. Have re-scanned channels, still same. 1/2

  • ftsov ftsov (@ftsov) reported

@chris_sanderson @EE Yep, it’s disgraceful. Also, I don’t understand why or how EE can disable the freeview part of it. Humax surely don’t run a tv service for all their freeview boxes, so why won’t /can’t the freeview part of our EETV boxes keep working at least?

  • likeitornot007 SJW (@likeitornot007) reported

@gs_ontoast @freesat_tv Ditch freesat too many issues, aerial then try youview or freeview play, if you need satellite then freesat from Sky, freesat with 4k Arris is poor

  • MikeBond64 Mike Bond (@MikeBond64) reported

@BBC6Music is unlistenable on Freeview on a telly that has perfectly adequate TV reception. Keeps breaking up momentarily, like very bad hiccups. Are the radio channels broadcast weaker, or something?

  • PBaboins P (@PBaboins) reported

@Telegraph Better late than never I suppose. This is what freeview play should have been, but the channels all wanted to do their own thing and have their own little player and catalogue
