@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

@tomster36 Netflix and Amazon I have a subscription to but to use other streaming apps on one device, I don’t have freeview because it’s shit just use streaming services now

Lockdown has meant that I’m regularly watching BBC / ITV for the first time in 15 years. Not as bad as I’d feared, though itv overdoes the game shows a bit. The tv is the only company I have during the day. Freeview is really useful.

  • inxplosion Hannah 🍉 (@inxplosion) reported

@FreeviewAdvice freeview has been bad all day. Only 28 channels found on retune. Distorted/broken up picture. Is there a signal/transmitter problem in the Newmarket, Suffolk area? It’s really annoying!

  • Kim_x0 Kim_x0 (@Kim_x0) reported

@SkyHelpTeam Sorry should have said sky+ multiroom and they both have the same issue with the freeview channels

  • SwipeSolutions_ Swipe Solutions (@SwipeSolutions_) reported

@BodegaaCat If willing to pay I can sort you out for a good price. All EFL, EPL, FA Cup, etc. on the service. International channels. Freeview. Other sports much more. Give us a message with any questions you may have

  • algingersmith Alan C. Smith (@algingersmith) reported

@ElinorCooper27 @lav25th @MartinSLewis A basic problem for changing the system is that current Freeview tech is not compatible with subscriptions. You'd have to replace all boxes..currently a huge chunk of viewers using them. That idea will have to wait for next gen of tech.

  • usher_anne Anne Usher (@usher_anne) reported

If your elderly and not good with technology or have poor eyesight.....FORGET IT. Go to FREEVIEW.......IT DOES’NT COST A FORTUNE a month, it’s EASY to use. SKY are pushing SKY Q because it suits THEIR PURPOSE....the CUSTOMER does not count....all they want is YOUR MONEY

  • PCopeland1998 Paul Copeland (@PCopeland1998) reported

@JCTJennings @virginmedia We have the same problem right now. We have not internet and no tv channels. We've had to use the TVs freeview.

  • nglwaug nigel waugh💙 (@nglwaug) reported

@bt_uk Having problems with BBC channels on my BT Freeview. Tried retuning today and have now lost all bbc channels except HD. It seems virtually impossible to contact BT to ask for help, so I thought I would try this way!

  • dstilvi Streetskin (@dstilvi) reported

So I watch PBS America, freeview channel, and the needless deaths on both sides and the terrible destruction of the Vietnam war and I've just been told that no talent #gemmacollins on ITV with Piers, has 1 million followers on Instagram, words fail me.

  • Kim_x0 Kim_x0 (@Kim_x0) reported

@SkyHelpTeam Thanks. It seems to be the freeview channels that are the issue.
