@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

@osteogenesis I’m on EE and haven’t had any trouble at all. Got my phone with them too on sim only. In fact it’s been so good I’m going to renew with them when it’s due. I’ve got a freeview box and shared Amazon Prime on a family thing.

@AlexMacLeod9 the tv was off, the website was down, the phone was probably being inundated with calls as it was a recorded message then it cut me off! I guess all customers were doing the same. On freeview for now, I'll check later if they're back onstream.

@virginmedia Pretty scant in the way of updates given how long it’s been since the outage began. Telling us that a handful of TV channels are available now is all well & good, but I can turn my V6 box off completely & get those for nothing via Freeview.

@BBCSnooker why to love of God would you change the freeview channel 601 from Gilbert game to the Hawkins game after an hour!? People,like me, who have just moved house and no WiFi yet, so can't use red button service! Seriously sick of snooker and whoever makes stupid decisions
