"BBC Four HD will return soon" is not a glowing example of brilliant customer information, Freeview. 99.9% of us are not TV experts and would quite like at least some hint as to what "soon" might mean. For this channel, even I notice the difference between HD and SD.

BBC News HD being taken of Freeview is a major loss. Poor show, @BBC.

@Page_888 @russty_russ Interesting. For the period of time between the collapse of ITV Digital and the launch of Freeview, I suppose it made sense for there to be DTT boxes manufactured. I didn't realise that Top-Up TV had anything to do with Freeview, as I thought it was a separate platform/service.

Anybody else’s #freeview what’s built into the TV not working. Rotherham/Sheffield area?

@neilbelieves Not seen it, it's on the list though. I remember it being quite controversial at the time here in the UK but I never bothered with it. Now I want to check it out, it's never available on freeview 🙄

I have a 50" Roku TV just purchased from Argos. I am in a weak reception area, if I scan on a good day I have HD freeview channels. If I turn on the TV next day and signal is weak the HD channels are completely removed and I have to do another scan - super annoying @HisenseUK

  • thedogger31 darren (@thedogger31) reported

@SkyHelpTeam Yes I wanted to keep my tv package and landline but was told yesterday if I cancel my broadband I cannot keep my landline as only the freeview channels come through the satellite dish. I am out of contract on my broadband too

Warning, stupid question incoming, does a Freeview tele just simply plug into an old skool aerial?? My mum wants a new TV but doesn’t have cable. I’m assuming so? I’ve had cable since the early 90s so haven’t had to faff on with aerials for 30 odd years !!!
