    A really bad day for TV viewers - Virgin Media's TV service is still not back to normal following a nationwide outage. - On Freeview, in the London TV region, an issue affecting the D3&4 multiplex has resulted in disruption to some viewers.

    @NicNic711 @VirginTV friends who had it & got rid of it last year. I have freeview & Amazon Prime, never had a problem.

    @MrsWardley @FreeviewAdvice After giving up on the freeview channels, I did check again about 90 mins later before I had to leave home and the channels had returned... Still want to know what happened to cause this big outage? (Btw our separate Virgin Media cable TV service suddenly failed today too, odd.)

    Oh dear, what has @BBCiPlayer done to itself on the Freeview update? It was bad enough before but now, it’s terrible…….

    @petertsykes My Virgin bill this month is £92.57. I accept that occasionally there can be technological problems and that they need fixing. I can survive the trauma of having to use Freeview briefly today without whingeing about it on social media.

    @BBCSnooker why to love of God would you change the freeview channel 601 from Gilbert game to the Hawkins game after an hour!? People,like me, who have just moved house and no WiFi yet, so can't use red button service! Seriously sick of snooker and whoever makes stupid decisions

    @Mlabus5 @Gaarrgh Not a Scooby. But Channel 4 had major issues after a recent fire? And I read the channel was not available in some areas or on Freeview since 2pm
