@Artemisfornow They should make 'over-air' broadcast (Freeview etc) free and Charge for iPlayer access which is already behind a paywall of sorts because it asks for your TV License number already Over air programmes have poor Image Quality as it is; why pay for SD quality?

  • PostFromProtest Postcards From Protest (@PostFromProtest) reported

@MEGA_NATIVE @PolitlcsUK Yes you can. You can watch any service you pay for. Discovery+ is not part of the licence fee terms. You sound confused to me. The licence fee is only required for live terrestial broadcasts and BBC iplayer. Terrestrial is BBC/ ITV/ C4 and 5 and some Freeview channels.

@sallythomsett Hahaha ! Cutting it a bit fine- typical ! Hope he has resolved the problem. There's a brill new drama about the Mitford sisters on right now, on freeview 20- it's called "Outrageous." xxx

  • ihatemogs Micheál O'Fiach (@ihatemogs) reported

@crusaders1898 @andrewhdonohoe @Saraita101 No because it's called Saorview here, uses slightly different technology and doesn't carry BBC channels, only RTÉ and a few other domestic channels. Freeview, the UK system, is available in border areas where the signal leaks over the border, impossible to change.

  • Popeye87009747 Popeye (@Popeye87009747) reported

@TLWUK1Official @MediaBoyUK SKY never had ITVBe+1. ITV Quiz+1 will launch on Freeview more likely in August 2025

  • Woodydryad Sally Wood (@Woodydryad) reported

@The_East_End @LeeHurstComic Yep, over this way too. Even getting "white outs" on the TV set and neighbour had to add a dongle thingy to keep her laptop signal boosted enough to do course work. Guy who runs the shop who lives elsewhere, he says hes missing freeview channels, while i dont get any BBC at all

  • ThatsTVOfficial That's TV (@ThatsTVOfficial) reported

@Greyadder Are you a Freeview viewer? If so please direct message us and we will see if we can help you

  • EE EE (@EE) reported

@liampdwyer Thanks for getting back to us, Liam. This service can be accessed on freeview on channel 236, or if you're watching on the app. If it's hardly working, it'll be best to reset your TV box, and possibly your broadband.

  • MapleFiltered Gruffalo Trace (@MapleFiltered) reported

Can someone tell me how the hell a system as poor as @Freely_tv has been brought to market. Simply appalling designed, slow, clunky, user unfriendly and a MASSIVE downgrade on Freeview Play or You view. Deliberately avoiding selling TVs with your system now. Absolute nonsense

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@Livalab With regards to the guide on the Freeview app, you can still get the next programmes up on the TV guide by pressing the icon made of variously sized horizontal lines on the top left corner of the guide. As for +1 versions of the BBC channels, that would be down to the BBC.
