Imagine how much of a Christmas miracle it would be if BBC3 came back to freeview number 7. I can picture it now, Gavin & Stacey returns and BBC3 makes a comeback. 25/12/19 would go down in history.

@curryspcworld Just been into your Crewe store looking for a freeview box. 5 staff members fiddling with displays, me the only customer. Not one member of staff came to see if I needed help. Going elsewhere as you obvs don't need my custom.

@james_blue_cat Can't afford any streaming service or the hardware upgrade to accommodate one. Freeview and iPlayer is enough. Didn't switch telly on Xmas day and Bob and Paul going fishing was my highlight.

@StevenNT @a516digital Just got it confirmed by my neighbour, he was told way back in February, hes still fuming mad about it, because he was canvassed away from sky by some **** who knew nothing about the freeview problems we have.

I'm fed up,my Freeview box is broken,so now I can't watch any TV,anyone who live in tile hill Coventry area I a spare Freeview box with remote control I could lend till September 2 thanks

@a516digital What's needed however is to change the technology used and support a better system, such as DVB T2. I don,t see streaming as a threat to freeview or freesat for that matter. As , the title says it's free. Streaming is all paid for. Just ask my neighbours!.

@a516digital He then changed it to vertical. Came back down, said that's £240 payable to freeview, he would be back in the morning as there were other jobs.

@shen_shiwei @SameeraKhan I've never seen it on Freeview, even a look now, not there. I see RT, AL Jazeera, Sky, BBC etc, even GBNews. (PressTV long gone) any idea what channel it "should" be on? Also, could it be restricted by regions/signal etc.

TV signal vanished last night again and still isn’t back. One week after fire was put out Freeview say 2+ more weeks to fix. It is staggering to me that the biggest transmission aerial in the country could have been decimated so quickly and with no real contingency plans.
