Richard Seamon (@Crewedaddy) reported from Crewe, England@james_blue_cat Can't afford any streaming service or the hardware upgrade to accommodate one. Freeview and iPlayer is enough. Didn't switch telly on Xmas day and Bob and Paul going fishing was my highlight.

The moderately far right 🏴 (@freefromwoke) reported@GBPolitcs Why should I pay a tax for a service I choose not to use? If I choose Sky, TNT, Paramount, Disney, Netflix ect. I pay for it. The ones I don’t pay for (Freeview services) are funded by advertising. Frankly the public funding for C4 should be revoked too.

Hence I rung in trying to get up the queue before the switch to Freeview. I never think Cam is as good as the studio but if anyone can make it work it's Maria. Hopefully I will catch her soon!

Road tax was abolished in 1937. Road building and maintenance is paid by general taxation. Revenue from VED just goes into the chancellor’s pot.
