Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@Virgin how do I go about leaving Virgin because I'm paying roughly £63.50 a month for a phone that I never use only to ring you up when there's a problem.. most of my viewing is on Freeview now and I have Amazon HD fire stick and Netflix account

@kelvmackenzie Can anyone answer a question for me? If the TV licence is specifically for the BBC, why must I pay for a TV licence if I "watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky, Virgin, BT, Freeview, Freesat)" I don't ever watch BBC channels or use iPlayer....????

@Dnewton99886451 @ColinBrazierTV Unfortunately you still need a licence if you watch Freeview. I don't even have that. I don't have an aerial & just have the Netflix, Prime, Disney & YouTube apps on my tv. I have the Apple TV app atm as I get it free with my phone contact til mid April but I never even watch it.

@Broadcastnow Poor move @ITV @ITVX - the channel still rates relatively healthily and in Freeview homes especially is serving an audience who may not have access to reliable online streaming (not that ITVX is a reliable online streamer!)

@KevinPMeagher @BriW74 It's 'The Eagle Has Landed', on BBC Four, right now, and i-Player for a few weeks' - complete with Donald Sutherland and ludicrously bad 'Irish' accent. No sign of 'Where Eagles' Dare' on any of the Freeview channels for the next while.

@angefitzpatrick @libmichelle I have lived IN Edinburgh for the past 12 years. Our last house is on the edge of the city but definitely in it. On rainy days Freeview only picked up 4 TV channels and when we moved out in 2019 there was still no cable so internet was glacially slow.

of all the streaming services I use (there are many as I don't have freeview, sky or virgin) @ITV is by far the worst... works as and when it wants, freezes, jumps, and won't let you pause/rw or fw... thank goodness I don't watch many of their shows...
