Some days I really wish I'd kept all those calls to @JimDavisOnAir on my freeview box. I've been sent way back in time with a USB memory stick, a few years back with some calls. Damn, I really miss those days with the song choice and #JimDavisLive And it was just brilliant radio

  • summers_allan Allan Kempson (@summers_allan) reported from Romford, England

@talkSPORT @Sjopinion10 That's a bad idea. Sky have rights to other sports too, so a netflix football service would be yet another thing to pay for if you like multiple sports. More football needs to be on freeview channels like BBC and ITV.

  • fishinthedark1 fishinthedark (@fishinthedark1) reported from Hammersmith, England

@PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

  • RegenerateAndy Andy Smith (@RegenerateAndy) reported from Wandsworth, England

  • maggieinlondon Maggie - wear a mask 💙🏳️‍🌈🌱 (@maggieinlondon) reported from Wandsworth, England

With all this wall to wall coverage crap of a dead man by @skynews and @bbcnews Netflix and Freeview's viewing figures must be the highest they've ever been.

  • Tommy_M_E_J Tom Jordan (@Tommy_M_E_J) reported from Hammersmith, England

@njvns That’s so shit. It’s literally called freeview and yet it’s not free

  • Dante_Banks Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England

@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

  • adrianatkins196 adrian atkins (@adrianatkins196) reported from Crayford, England

Question for arts people. We don’t use Freeview as our signal is much more reliable using Apple TV through our internet connection. Is there a way I can get @SkyArts via Apple TV?

  • EranE1980 Eran Edry (@EranE1980) reported from Camden Town, England

  • KiaStarmer Kia Starmer GT 🇬🇧🇺🇦 🕖 (@KiaStarmer) reported

@Leon_C @gerry_berry I'm really not sure about the direction @BritishAlba's social media team have gone in though. They should stick to what they know - cheap tellies with crap freeview tuners.

  • PaulCarmichaelV Paul Carmichael (@PaulCarmichaelV) reported

@AndyCla05536869 @vimfuego1234 @PrisonPlanet programming (all offset by big profitable productions). Then we add maintaining the infrastructure of Freeview and FreeSat (how the poor and elderly traditionally access television). Oh & writing the scripts. And directing the shows. And editing them. Yeah, sure you could. (2/2)

  • CatIpswich Toby the Cat (Ipswich) (@CatIpswich) reported

@ModernCassie Never knew it existed. Who will screen it on Freeview?

  • ArthurAssendune Sir Arthur Assendune 🇪🇺💙#FBPPR #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@ArthurAssendune) reported

@DanielaNadj I wish the EU would runs a news channel on Freeview. RT did, Al Jazeera does, why not the EU? Euronews is available and OK as far as it goes, but it is quite limited. An opportunity for the EU to develop its own 'World Service'.

  • wordspinster Debbie Cameron (@wordspinster) reported

@snigskitchen These pitches are gold tbh, the main problem is that they're trying to become PM instead of finding a home on a midsize Freeview channel

  • fatch_phil Fatch 💙 🇮🇪 🇮🇲 🇬🇧 (@fatch_phil) reported

Freeview TV is so **** I have resorted to watching #longlostfamily Same theme every programme so nothing new to see. Switch on radio. Licence fee money is spent on sport throughout the summer.

  • UKTVPlay UKTV Play (@UKTVPlay) reported

@1974craig17 @UKTV @BBCBargainHunt Hi Craig, unfortunately some Freeview Play devices are still impacted by an issue we're experiencing around playback. We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused and are working on fixing this ASAP

  • katiemay_taylor 🌷Lou 🌷 (@katiemay_taylor) reported

@itvhubhelp what the hell’s going on with itv hub !!! I done everything it still not working! Done all the steps to get it all my other freeview plays okay just itv catch been off nearly a week now !!

  • Peter_Mugridge Peter Mugridge (@Peter_Mugridge) reported

@Saltbar Good God no - I watch on a proper TV with Freeview and only very, very, rarely watch something on whatever channel's iPlayer service it is - and then only if it's something I miss when it's broadcast and I didn't record it either. Is that what you're doing? Online only viewing?

  • PaulCarmichaelV Paul Carmichael (@PaulCarmichaelV) reported

@RussPurdie @DefundBBC If the BBC is defunded how do we replace the excellent educational resources it provides to every school and college? How do we maintain the Freeview network which enables the elderly and poor to access free television? How do we replace the Disability Programmes Unit (1/2)
