It's impossible under for the BBC to become a subscription service because you CAN'T charge under subscriptions via Freeview - which is how most access TV. Any change would be a Tax to support local radio & TV Advertising

Kids ditch cbbc the second they have cartoon network, Disney and nickelodeon. Adults do the same too for other things. They like the choice.

Benjamin Barlow (@Defn28) reportedBT digital is shite. Every time you turn it on, the telly resets and has to boot up again. Sky never did this. Suffice to say, we’ll be getting rid and I honestly just think we should stick with Freeview and the free apps. Digital TV is redundant
