How many people will cancel sky when they have to cut back as millions will with the cost of living going up so terribly. And what is FTA ? @did_40 @lomelindi12 Can you both listen to the repeat of Health Check on the World Service at 1.30pm online via smart speaker, sounds, on DAB, Freeview? A very big feature on MS which seems to offer hope and it does seem reliable what they talk about it.

I got a new TV and now standard free to air TV looks terrible because streaming services understand nice TVs exist and Freeview appears to basically have ignored everything that happened in TVs since about 2007.

@iMultitudes Yes I can only get that channel through the Freeview box which I record on, can’t get it through the normal aerial as the signal is so bad here.

@jinxyjane1960 @BBCNews Incredibly naïve comment. I realise not everyone will see tough times, but this is going to cause all kinds of problems. Even me on my £8 mobile contract and Freeview. I don't see it as unpopular, I see it as something that has no idea what many will face.

@Helenmacca @helenamayb @NadineDorries They both make a lot of content these days but channel four already does that Big question is will it become subscription outside the TV licence in which case they will be depriving Freeview viewers of several channels & an online streaming service, hardly fair & worth pushing
