@Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

On matey question I flack through channels via virgin media no problem on any channel including the awful gb news however on Freeview all channels good Quality except the awful gb news which the worst of the lot a bit like the content I dot know about sky fst

@jonny_b_badde @Nigel_Farage Don’t need to I haven’t watch @GBNEWS since it started I could ether watch on Freeview 236 or virgin 626 but done nether except I watch 50 seconds 25 on Freeview picture and sound was crap 💩 and virgin picture and sounds was very good but channel is bollocks all time crap 💩

@joshoconnorchen Fun story. I once had some installers place a freeview antenna on top of vocus for an IPTV rig. They pooched something up, and took down 4G for 2 weeks in Albany. MBIE were involved with scanners trying to work out who was outputting **** on the same frequency. Fun times!

@PhilipsCare_UK had great customer service from you guys in the past, but the problem constantly comes back. ‘Playback failed’ on iplayer, 4od.. all freeview channels, to the point where I can’t use my tv as a tv. And yes, have reset everything, it’s the latest software, etc etc

Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

@FreeviewAdvice My sister is severely affected, she has absolutely no signal at all, not everyone has freeview play etc, can you not devert signel to other masts?

BILLSDALE TRANSMITTER PROBLEMS DUE TO FIREM CAUSING TELEVISION RECEPTION PROBLEMS.THOSE WHO HAVE SKY OR FREEVIEW WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. REPAIR TIME COULD BE ONE OR TWO WEEKS.

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

@FloydTweet Doesn't your TV have Freeview built in? Thought they all came like that now, plus check your "sources" on the tv as that may be an issue
