  @Sonic_Sinclair @bbcmicrobot Technically it is, there's support for it in DVB. There's several channels on DVB satellite that uses it, not sure there's any on freeview. Certainly all the original services shutdown or moved to MHEG. The BBC mheg service was incredible but that's shutdown now too 🙁

On matey question I flack through channels via virgin media no problem on any channel including the awful gb news however on Freeview all channels good Quality except the awful gb news which the worst of the lot a bit like the content I dot know about sky fst

  @jonny_b_badde @Nigel_Farage Don’t need to I haven’t watch @GBNEWS since it started I could ether watch on Freeview 236 or virgin 626 but done nether except I watch 50 seconds 25 on Freeview picture and sound was crap 💩 and virgin picture and sounds was very good but channel is bollocks all time crap 💩

  @frombwtocolor Woah Annoying we had to stop our Sky package in 2007, we got it briefly after we moved and stopped having cheap cable as a treat. And then were on Freeview for years. Would have loved this!

  @jonoread I switched to Sky Stream from Virgin last year. Don’t miss the lack of recording now. Took a while to get used to. I have a Freeview recorder should I want to ‘keep’ something or for when internet goes down.

  @jdpoc The earliest possible date for a redesign of the Freeview service is 2030, which may simply be a slimming down to some core channels or a switch off, but no decision is even in the offing yet.

  @jdpoc If more people paid attention in science classes at school and continued interest in science they'd probably better informed of all the tech challenges with freeview signal. Since myself being on freeview, 4G arrived

  @_DIGB Also I don’t watch any freeview. If you’re looking to get rid of yours they’ll contact you in the post I appealed and said I don’t use aerial or freeview no bbc or even iplayer an use WiFi/5g streaming apps like prime, Netflix, paramount bla blah so happy to help on that
