Haven't had BBC channels since the retune, I've noticed I'm missing #BBC4 the most, damn I'm getting old. #freeview

  • marktoleman Mark Toleman (@marktoleman) reported from Fremington, England

So #freeview told me to retune my tv's which led me to lose all signal apart from one in front room as that's via freesat, so no signal upstairs. I'm now liable for the cost of an aerial engineer to fix it. Been told to complain to my local MP if I'm not happy.

  • pifflevalve Jon 🎄 (@pifflevalve) reported from Warkleigh, England

My dad: “I don’t think we’ve got that Tory news channel on the Freeview have we? I’ve never seen it” Me, to myself: “No, I delete it every time you ask me to do the channel rescan”

@bbchealth BBC could be a service reaching out 24/7 to include the people who work long, late hours and have poor access to the Internet. Instead we have a mental diet of murder killings and sad repeats. Freeview is failing in its remit to educate and inform. You could have an NHS channel?

  • ericdn627 Eric Norton (@ericdn627) reported

@ParodyFPL @TransponderTV I'm sure nothing, other than a removal of channels as the BBC shuts them down or otherwise makes them unavailable on Freeview, which appears inevitable.

  • PCarmichaelVO Paul Carmichael (@PCarmichaelVO) reported

@d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 Yes, sure. Because you’re incapable of answering anything on the subject. You’re not coming at it from a position of knowledge. I mean everyone in the industry acknowledges the Freeview problem doesn’t have a solution. That’s a given. Or can you solve what the experts can’t?

  • GregHallsworth Greg Hallsworth (@GregHallsworth) reported

@rogermosey I fear those advocating a subscription model would be happy to see Freeview shut down 😢

  • sazenrose Sarah Gerrard (@sazenrose) reported

After 3 attempts (partly due to Freeview issues 🙄) I have finally got to the end of #StarTrekVoyager. 🥳 Gonna miss my dose of Delta Quadrant Trek.

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

Ofcom requires public service channels to have slot in the top 24 slots of the channel list. BBC Three must be assigned a top 24 slot within 18 months. Freeview is doing this immediately. Commercial operators have expressed concern that the BBC will swap Three and Four around,

  • BrianMLeahy1 Brian M. Leahy (@BrianMLeahy1) reported

I have contempt for Freeview which expanded tonight when I switched to the Drama Chanel to watch what I thought would be a new "The Last Detective". True to form Freeview, this incompetent producer of rubbish TV was putting out yet another repeat. Close Freeview Down.

  • ETusty Emma T (@ETusty) reported

We have freeview signal this evening. Yay. The only downside is that when there's no signal I get to control the remote and choose the channel because the OH has no idea how to get on iplayer, netflix or prime. He'd spend about an hour just finding something to watch

  • raymondwillia11 dr osborne beeching (@raymondwillia11) reported

@ken_brittain @redroofbraemar hundreds of free channels for free thousands on you tube why pay £159 for BBC and 70 crap Freeview channels then can view catch-up without licence?

  • craftymiss Sharon MacDonald-Armitage (@craftymiss) reported

@Theatremonkey1 @Freeview @FreeviewAdvice Oh wow, never knew that was happening
