@peter_perfect_ Oh big problem Saturday night affecting Four and Five and its sister channels. No sound, channels disappearing or static. I’ve never seen anything like it in the digital era. Freeview suffered worst.

@JoshxReid @PATVOne1 @4Music They did move out of the music section on Sky a few years back to allow them to do this. Not an issue on Freeview with everything thrown in together. It is poor branding though - same with CBS Drama showing hours of Judge Judy.

@dougmcfarlane41 @NickyAACampbell @bbc5live There was something on the radio the other day about claiming money from companies who don’t provide paid internet services after so many days. I guess freeview wouldn’t be included. What is the actual problem, have they said?

@jaco45er @NickyAACampbell @bbc5live BUT that's the issue there was never any fuel shortages, and those that hadn't had delivered were a 5 stations in the South proving again the news is southern centric focused....remind me again we're now on day 53 of no #Freeview yet bugger all talking about, no media asking why

@willsandry I’m watching on actual TV/Freeview. They’re still not right after the Red Bee fire/oxygen suppression system issues over the weekend. I think they must be broadcasting on backup systems.

@CassLennox Funny thing is only channel 4 works on all 4 right now the other live channels are dead also ita due to complicated reasons woth how thr signal is transmitted to freeview cable and satellite its all messed up still

@FlissWolf @E4Tweets It also depends on how and where you’re watching. I understand Freeview viewers may be seeing the broken feed in certain areas, while satellite and cable are on the back up. Watching catch up content on All4 is fine, it’s just the live streams that are showing the broken feeds.

@Traceyspacey1 Odd. Tho. In the olde days when I had Freeview in the house, a) the Freeview folks were surprised I could get it at all for where i was, but b) we picked up a transmitter near Scunthorpe. I never got local radio at all, it was always Yorkshire based. So definitely consistent!

I do feel sorry for Channel 4, who 2 days after the Red Bee fire evacuation that caused catastrophic falls off the air for a number of UK channels, still have technical issues: the audio on the HD Freeview version sounds like it has been inverted and playing in the wrong speakers

People who have Freeview - is it just a one off cost for the box or subscription and can you record stuff? (Am trying to figure out tv options and can't get virgin and sky i think you need a dish. Aerial is crap here)
