.@Freeview question - how come the PSB muxes aren’t treated equally? The BBC one and the HD one seem to have a much better signal from Wenvoe than the “normal” ITV one. (I can get Mendip off a random bit of metal.)

@aliiscrying @JohnJohnNYC_ You can have a TV and not buy a TV license you just won't get BBC or other freeview channels, you can still get digital cable or other pay services from **** like Sky

@aliiscrying @JohnJohnNYC_ in the UK you buy a television license to access Freeview which is the terrestrial television service you can get with an antenna. The money goes to fund the BBC

@danbloom1 @jed_mercurio Cancel Netflix, prime, Disney, sky/virgin tv, change phone contract to sim only, have freeview, shop at Aldi, no takeaways or eating out, don’t smoke or vape, don’t drink, cut down on other excess spend….just a few tips to help there.

@A_M_Seed Don't have TV on at the moment because the Freeview signal is shot (high pressure). Otherwise they could have had CBeebies.

@Flashmaggie @Baroness_Nichol I was one of those who said I would never watch it. Ever. I have since watched @andrewdoyle_com on a number of occasions in recent months. It’s disappointing that the quality is so low on Freeview, but live YouTube stream is handy.
