I bet you haven't even read the info where they're thinking about scrapping all freeview channels. And so to watch TV it'll all be paid online service - that you need ID for! Join the dots.

  • WalesPragmatist
    South Wales Pragmatist (@WalesPragmatist) reported

@alunsays @EnglandRugby Not in HD on Freeview. For a premium match it's a poor effort from ITV, like watching TV in the 90s...

  • FurryfeaturesUK
    Charles Stuart (@FurryfeaturesUK) reported

@lippyent Star Trek (TOS). Every weekday evening when I’m not working on Legend, Freeview channel 41.

  • TomCushnie

@mart_stead @SW18_67FC @johnrobinson07 It's not more saturated too, it's shot in a Full Range and de-converted down to Standard Range to fit in our poor freeview infrastructure, it makes red and yellows considerably crushed. That's why the Holland game looked the worse so far

  • jonsmithUC
    Jon Smith (@jonsmithUC) reported

@RidgeandFrost @WilfredFrost Once Freeview is turned off by this Government, ITV under American ownership will be a subscription model streaming service.

@LillacTyanu This is the most accurate breakdown in the thread, so thank you. You are right, the fee is for live TV, Freeview comes preloaded, and if you never connect the aerial or watch live you do not owe it. They can chase you, but the burden is on them to prove you watched. That nuance is the whole ballgame. The fee leans on people not knowing they already have the exit. You clearly do. 🦋

  • Traighbon08
    Nigel Keeling (@Traighbon08) reported

@reformparty_uk Most working classes have a dodgy stick and pay about £100 for every channel known to man. They couldn't give a **** about Freeview. You clearly know your voters.

  • MattMoore2025
    Breaking News (@MattMoore2025) reported

@MetroUK Close down loads of channels that isn't important and keep the ones going why have we got loads of pointless channels on freeview Freesat Virgin and sky

@aconda_ann I am quite old fashioned as well. I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.
