  @BoostTorbay @AndrewBrazier1 Never used the first two options. Very much old school. None of the fancy pants Sky or Virgin Media either. Just plain old Freeview for me

  My @SkyUK box has frozen in a state of #wtf, using on/off/on/off does **** all, tv now gone to freeview and im out of my depth. And my man is sound asleep unwell, bless him. #SilenceIsGolden

  @JAMESRW1981 @SeddSezz I don't have any streaming services apart from Freeview play, all my lights are LED, I don't heat my house unless it's bitterly cold, I don't smoke, never have. I like a couple of beers after working 9-12 hrs a day. Hardly ever get takeaways or take the Mrs out for a meal.

  @RugbyBath Despite Prem Rugby saying it's ITV4, The Freeview planner is saying Chiefs V Sarries - i'd ask Prem Rugby, but they never reply!

  @SteveMay_UK It’s Sh💩T I installed one for a customer you can’t record ITV channels even though it is a recorder unless you go into a alternative TV guide which you can’t navigate easily, to find ITV channels via Freeview on alternative numbers that make no sense customer returned it

  @kenton1206 I did the same with Virgin Mafia. It was going up to £90 for little more than Freeview and ok broadband. Swapped to a Cityfibre service (small firm based in Worthing even though I live in Peterborough) and bought a Netgem Plieo. Less than half the cost, should’ve done it sooner.

  @Itinerantguy It's a corporate circle jerk that never ends. They just give awards to themselves though circuitous routes. Only the retards with freeview still believe anything that comes from their pursed anuses. Sadly, there are a LOT of retards with freeview.

  The problems with planning to switch Freeview off: Many people still watch Freeview. Internet drops out or you get the 'circle of doom' and freezing BBC iPlayer when trying to watch something! Not everyone has or wants internet / wifi / data.
