    My @SkyUK box has frozen in a state of #wtf, using on/off/on/off does **** all, tv now gone to freeview and im out of my depth. And my man is sound asleep unwell, bless him. #SilenceIsGolden

    @BoostTorbay @AndrewBrazier1 Never used the first two options. Very much old school. None of the fancy pants Sky or Virgin Media either. Just plain old Freeview for me

    @TheGriftReport There are millions of pensioners and older folks who do not have broadband, do not want broadband, would never manage with a new television / apps, and rely on their Freeview television service to stay connected to the outside world Switching off Freeview would effectively be an isolation/ death sentence for many of these people

It remains on Freeview (for now) but is said to be suffering financial problems.

    Does anyone who sees this know how to watch ITV WC other than via the app when you don’t have access to freeview? The STV app is forced on us Scottish viewers by ITV & is utter CRAP quality for live footie & I don’t have access to freeview, I use a fire stick & no aerial. 😭😭😭

    @TheStingisBack Last time I saw this film (Time After Time 1979) was in 1990's. Never shown on Freeview channels since then unfortunately!

    COMMENT: It needs an internet subscription, also an aerial for some progs, if your internet is slow you lose all progs, the manufacturers claim it's the internet problem so you cannot return the TV. It's a complete con for the companies to save supplying Freeview. πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

    Unsurprisingly, so many things have not been considered with the whole "shutting off terrestrial" tv thing. For instance, companies like BT/EE do NOT broadcast the Freeview channels on their online service in rural Scotland. These come in on the aeriel, the rest through your ...

    @EmmerdaleInside There is no excuse not to put football or any other sport on ITV 3 or 4 as everyone who watches TV will have digital TV ( Freeview) as the analog signal got turned off years ago and them channels are free to all ( as long as they pay the TV Tax)
