@Stephen_Neal Good shout! If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

Now I have the truly truly shit @EE freeview package (literally the worst selection of channels on earth but boy is it cheap broadband) I only watch the main 5 channels or SVOD. W, Dave, ITV2 etc are dead to me

@PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

@virginmedia once again trying to contact virgin media is a no go a proper waste of time contract has run out trying to cancel they have put the money up to £60 a month for basically 2 freeview boxes I have cancelled my direct debit which is due on the 7 april what a scam😡

@GBNEWS .. Can you fix the sound levels on freesat and freeview please , your station is significantly quieter than others, after watching you, flipping to other channels blows my head off. Also studio sound like someone hasn't removed the plastic bag from around the new microphone 😡 .

Just got some co-axile connecters for my #freeview problem modern ones are not as wide, so they don't work, wish I still had that box of them I had in 1985 but they got lost when we moved house back then. #OhDear

I have tried a few times to get GB news on my television up here in Perth Scotland but been unable successful. I have freeview and I believe it is channel 236 I also have a smart TV and digital aerial so that shouldn't be an issue ,has anyone else been having the same issue ?

@JakeWSimons Was taken off British freeview TV a few years ago. Surprised it was still available in the US. Can think of at least one other network that should also be removed from standard freeview in the UK.

@CraggsLewis @tvlicensing @tvlicensingnews If it's the live stream, as it's also a Freeview broadcast channel then yeah you need a TV licence. If you're just watching catch-up on-demand clips, then you don't need one. The law is stupid, but that's the way it is at the moment.
