@bobbert_ Full Sky Q except Sports & Kids, Netflix, Prime and Disney+! I initially got Sky as the Freeview signal was ****, but since then a masthead amp has been installed on the communal aerial so all good now. Think I prefer your idea of £11.99 a month, as I hardly watch any of it!

  • Evoqueist Evoqueistidor 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇺🇸 (@Evoqueist) reported from Upton, England

@101Maurice We get EE 4G but it's pretty patchy I live in a suburban area a couple of miles from Poole in Dorset and can't get a freeView signal so have to use Freesat....

@MarcCorbishley I've never seen it, I can't afford to subscribe to the premium package it was on. I'm strictly on whatever Freeview throws my way. If it comes up on ITV in ten years time I guess I'll finally watch it, haha.

  • Baseley09 John Baseley (@Baseley09) reported

@virginmedia Hello thanks for the response, my bill is due to increase to £58 for essentially freeview and a 100mb line. I have tried to cancel or renegotiate but been let down so far in my actions. Kind regards.

  • YouViewSupport YouView (@YouViewSupport) reported

@Smudge1979 Hi Mark. Any channel changes are done by Freeview rather than us. It's likely that it's been moved to a different channel group (MUX) which has a weaker signal than what it was on previously so other channels in the same group e.g BBC News HD will also have a weak signal.

  • plc69 ≋ P ≋ a ≋ u ≋ l ≋ (@plc69) reported

@MoneySavingExp 1. Cancel Sky. Freeview plus Netflix costs less than £10/month. 2. Cook everything fresh, stop buying ready meals. 3. Get a SIM-Only contract (£6/month) rather than an expensive contract. 4. Overpay the mortgage every month. Treat it like a bill. 5. Pay off credit cards in full.

  • dead_folk DeadFolkClothing (@dead_folk) reported

My @davechannel has no signal on freeview and when I rescan my tv channel 19 has vanished altogether now. Is this widespread or is my TV on the blink?

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

TVs like those from LG, which have both Freeview and Freesat EPGs, but where you currently can't just quickly flick from one EPG to another, due to licensing issues, could in the future have better integration between each other... Freeview already wants to have IP+DTT in 1 EPG.

  • JNdonald Sidney Lotterby💙 (@JNdonald) reported

@danwootton Tell us, we're you Exec Editor of the Sun last year when it put up its price by 5p a day, which is 30p a week, which is £15.60 a year? Were you outraged then? Or are you just trying to hawk your new bosses channel by playing down something which cofunds Freeview?

  • scots_cat Cathy A (@scots_cat) reported

@andy_ledger @BBCiPlayer We don't have Sky or anything - just watching live on Freeview and stupid caption obscures part if screen for whole programme 🙄

  • jonwensley Jon Wensley (@jonwensley) reported

@Robin_Redway @RichPreston How do you technically provide a subscription service on terrestrial Freeview? If you don’t, you have to get people to subscribe to Sky or Virgin and/or internet access to receive the BBC. The standard service of both of those costs more than the BBC.

  • conspiracism M R. X. Dentith (@conspiracism) reported

Finally got to a point in the day when I could do some book writing, and Mum's Sky box started smelling of smoke. So, instead, we spent the time calling Sky to get it serviced and my teaching Mum how to access the OnDemand services (Freeview doesn't work for some reason)
