@LeeMcilwaine @corylus @BBCSport You’ll never believe it Lee, but you’re wrong. The signal is being cropped on this freeview signal. Cropped on every picture aspect.

I pay license fee pretty much entirely because of how good BBC Four is. It is one of the best channels on television (or at least on Freeview, I can't speak for paid) so to axe it would be a terrible shame. #LoveBBCFour please Auntie Been don't kill your best child.

@cleanfeed_ttvr I hope that ITV West Country HD is a priority. 🤞 Freeview 103 currently shows Central West, right down to Penzance. Even if it was just the "HTV" variant carried pan-regionally, that would at least be "less wrong" for Devon & Cornwall than news about Brum, Stoke-on-Trent etc.

I'll probably keep the USB stick I purchased yesterday but am looking at the hard drives not being used with computers down and see if one can be attached to the freeview recorder to increase the amount of memory I can record TV programmes too. OTOH with another USB stick that's>

  • Page_888 Matthew H (@Page_888) reported

@scott_gamer @CITVPLUS Over in Australia there's a channel on their Freeview service called 10Shake. Apparently it mostly airs content from Nickelodeon and its name has come from the UK. As Viacom now produce "Neighbours" with 10Peach, they're now seemingly sharing names too.

  • JulianRadbourne Julian Radbourne (@JulianRadbourne) reported from Cromer, England

I just can't get them on my Talk Talk Freeview box. Any chance you could help as I'd rather watch them on my TV than on my tablet. Thanks.

  • macman9999 macman9999 (@macman9999) reported

@FreeviewAdvice You can get good clear pictures from Mars but not from Freeview, about time this problem was put right, i keep losing all BBC Channels, nothing sorts the problem out. its a service not fit for purpose.

  • RussMcKernan Russell McKernan (@RussMcKernan) reported

@SKYNZ Food Network no more?? What next?? Looks like we are off to get Freeview and will watch rugby at the pub. For years you have reduced your offering and packages and I have put up with it. No more. Goodbye 👋

  • fleming77 Jane Fleming (@fleming77) reported

The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 have jointly announced plans to integrate the terrestrial television service Freeview operated by Digital UK with Freesat, the satellite television service available without subscription.

  • gildy61 Random Jottings of Gildersleeve (@gildy61) reported

If I invest in that portable hard drive to record Freeview. Two things will happen. I'll either find it will never have much space taken up because there are so many repeats or stuff that doesn't interest or...I'll be recording so much I will be possibly watching loads that I>>>

  • a516digital Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported

(Existing channels are exempt for this rule though). The green light follows a consultation that took place between November & January. However, only a small number of Freeview Play devices will support these developments: your TV or box needs to support Channel List Management.

@andybee There goes my dream of getting R1 2 & 3 enough Freeview bandwidth in Scotland so that they no longer need to be stood down to for Alba between 1700 & 0000.
