    @Hampo I'm on Giffgaff, it runs in O2's network. I've never had a problem except for one day (or less) when that network went down. That's one day out of 5+ years. No catch that I've spotted.

    @flyfour @giffgaff 4 phones, same location, same network and only one phone got the alert. So the reality is, its neither network nor mast. Its just another broken system.

    @lkchdschh Also it's instantly dismissable. I'm more likely to receive an emergency notification from my friends / street Whatsapp network than this signal which goes off and then is gone. Alarm notifications very patchy on the GiffGaff network too.

    Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?

    @ConstantGeekery Same here across 5 devices connected to @SMARTYMobileUK and @giffgaff networks. May be because Smarty devices were connected though WiFi calling and giffgaff only had 3G signal. 3/Smarty have acknowledged there was a problem and say they’re working to resolve it for real alerts!
