@tech604boy @marxfemkitty It's funny, it went off for people who had disabled the alerts, then loads of people never got the alert at all. From what I've heard, Giffgaff users got it a minute early, and me and many others on Three never got it at all. Wouldn't be by the UK gov if it worked properly, eh?

Hello, you lovely @giffgaff people. I know I'm not alone in not having received the #emergencyalert message on my phone, however my wife next to me did on her Giffgaff Android mobile; presumably the signal is from the same mast? It's probably a Gov't ****-up as usual... Hey ho.

@MartinSLewis I’m with GiffGaff who use the O2 network, and I didn’t receive the emergency alert. I have an iPhone 7, currently running iOS 15.7.3, and I have the extreme and severe emergency alerts switched on in my settings/notifications.

@helenvecht @rogermerriman Three seem to have cocked up by lots of people on their network not getting it. I've seen QTs suggesting other networks repeatedly broadcast the alert (as per spec) and Three didn't... I was on GiffGaff and Three, dual sims, so could have been either which got it.

@Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?
