Seem to be finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a 3G signal from @giffgaff in Birmingham City Centre and around University station / Birmingham University area. Already had to give up on 4G in the city. Not really good enough. Couldn’t even tweet this from location!

  • AWaters_1992
Alex Waters (@AWaters_1992) reported from Solihull, England

@JackVTaylor More users using it slows it down maybe? Which is why giffgaff used to be good

  • stairforce
John Riley (@stairforce) reported from Stratford-upon-Avon, England

@Pandamoanimum @O2 I had a major falling out with O2 in 2010 (after being with them for 15 years). Moved to Giffgaff (which ironically uses O2’s network) and never looked back. Nine years later, O2 are still chasing me for the money they say I owe them.

@giffgaff Hi, I’ve just started using giffgaff and the internet has been awful, it never finds 4G. This is the case all across London so it’s nothing to do with network coverage

@giffgaff It's not in one area. It's while I'm traveling around London. I've always had 2 phones on your network in the 7 years I've been with you and both have problems, but it's got worse now.

@richie_rich77 You might want to send a text with the number of the call to 7726 (SPAM) free so your network (giffgaff I believe?) can look into it

@giffgaff Thanks. Unfortunately it just says that the agents are investigating the problem, but I can't say which phone number the problem relates to. There are about 10 attached to that email address.

@giffgaff They just said there’s no service issue.

@giffgaff Hello i joined recently but i only have 3G and not sure i understand where is the problem

@giffgaff I think person needs a PUK code to unlock the phone (he's somehow locked it). The problem is that because we activated the sim for for him, he doesn't have an account with you, so I can't get it from his online account.
