Seem to be finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a 3G signal from @giffgaff in Birmingham City Centre and around University station / Birmingham University area. Already had to give up on 4G in the city. Not really good enough. Couldn’t even tweet this from location!

  • stairforce
John Riley (@stairforce) reported from Stratford-upon-Avon, England

@Pandamoanimum @O2 I had a major falling out with O2 in 2010 (after being with them for 15 years). Moved to Giffgaff (which ironically uses O2’s network) and never looked back. Nine years later, O2 are still chasing me for the money they say I owe them.

@JackVTaylor More users using it slows it down maybe? Which is why giffgaff used to be good

Anyone on @o2 or @giffgaff and found their phone signal performance to be absolutely lacklustre? Everywhere I’ve been the past week has been terrible.

@ggmichaelg pl help me start my giffgaff sim which I put in yesterday at 11.30am and I’m still not connected to their network. I’m over 70 yrs old & don’t know much about it or Wi-Fi how these things work

@giffgaff Bought phone from you in August under warranty. Last week I took it out of my bag flashing red hot and had to cool down in freezer. It then turned off. Sent it back to you, you've told me I have to pay £519 to fix it or £15 to send back broken: standard practice?

  • scathach72003
    Skya Mcleod (@scathach72003) reported

@Yorksims @Carolin71106072 @giffgaff There is nothing new near to the house that we can tell but I agree there must be some sort of issue and i dont think for a moment both phones have gone strange at once.

@giffgaff what does “sorry you don’t have access to this service” when making a phone call mean?

  • LauraKing14
    Laura Gibson (@LauraKing14) reported

@giffgaff Surely you can chase internally & tell your agents that their shoddy advice / service is causing a repetutational issue and ask them to prioritise sorting it out?? that's what every other brand worth their salt does via their social teams... & yes it's very frustrating, thanks.

@1BenBaller @giffgaff Done that, coverage and service is all good. Just the speeds I’m getting and the amount it drops out is shocking.
