@giffgaff am disappointed by changes to cheapest goody bags. I've never been interested in more than a couple of calls or texts, just data.

Hi @giffgaff! My mom’s bought a pay as you go sim with unlimited minutes yesterday - had a 60 minute phone call to a London number and it says all her minutes are finished. I cannot find a number to call you. Please help - thanks!

@SteHyatt @giffgaff The demographic mentioned on the end has definitely never been me. I usually use Wi-Fi 95% of time but want a few mobile calls and texts and data when off Wi-Fi. When travelling I switch up to get more data.

Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?

@flyfour @giffgaff 4 phones, same location, same network and only one phone got the alert. So the reality is, its neither network nor mast. Its just another broken system.

@gingerninja1974 @giffgaff It appears it’s the set up of the phone. Which for a emergency alert seems to be failing! You can only receve it if you enable the function in settings, you can only get it if your using a 4G of 5G signal. Not well thought out plan at all!

@Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

@helenvecht @rogermerriman Three seem to have cocked up by lots of people on their network not getting it. I've seen QTs suggesting other networks repeatedly broadcast the alert (as per spec) and Three didn't... I was on GiffGaff and Three, dual sims, so could have been either which got it.

@tech604boy @marxfemkitty It's funny, it went off for people who had disabled the alerts, then loads of people never got the alert at all. From what I've heard, Giffgaff users got it a minute early, and me and many others on Three never got it at all. Wouldn't be by the UK gov if it worked properly, eh?
